I absolutely love shopping at Alo Yoga. Every time I walk into the store, I immediately feel like I’m in a space that was designed with care, intention, and style. The layout is clean and modern, the lighting is calming, and everything is so thoughtfully organized—it makes browsing feel effortless and fun. One of the biggest reasons I keep coming back is because they always have my size. That alone makes a huge difference in how enjoyable the shopping experience is. I never feel frustrated or limited, and whether I’m looking for leggings, tops, jackets, or even accessories, I know I’ll find options that fit me perfectly. The sizing is consistent and the clothes just fit so well. That’s not always easy to find, and it’s one of the things I appreciate most about Alo. The quality of the clothes is amazing, too. The fabric feels buttery soft and breathable, and everything moves with you—whether I’m doing yoga, walking around town, or just lounging, it’s all super comfortable while still looking polished. I love how the pieces are stylish without trying too hard. They’re minimal, sleek, and versatile—things I can wear to a workout class and then straight to brunch without needing to change. The staff at Alo is always kind, knowledgeable, and helpful without being pushy. They’re great at suggesting new pieces based on what I already like, and they make the experience feel welcoming and low-stress. I also appreciate how they maintain the store—it’s always spotless and beautifully arranged, which just adds to the whole experience. Honestly, every time I shop here, I leave feeling good—not just because I got something I love, but because the vibe of the store is so positive. Whether I’m shopping for something new or just browsing to get inspired, I always enjoy being there. Alo Yoga has definitely become one of my favorite go-to brands. I love the way their clothes make me feel—confident, comfortable, and put-together. I can’t recommend this...
Read moreI am writing to formally raise a complaint regarding an unacceptable experience I had at your store involving the manager, Marlene. I recently visited the store to return an item I had purchased — it was brand new, with the receipt and tax included. An employee was courteous and willing to process the return without issue. However, when Manager Marlene intervened, she refused to complete the return. Her demeanor was dismissive, rude, and unnecessarily confrontational.
This is not the first time I’ve had a negative experience with Marlene. On multiple occasions, she has treated me disrespectfully and made me feel uncomfortable while shopping. During my recent visit, I also witnessed her being unreasonably difficult with another customer.
I feel this behavior crosses the line into harassment and may be discriminatory in nature. As a result, I intend to consult with legal counsel to discuss my options regarding filing a formal complaint for discrimination and harassment.
I am requesting that this matter be investigated thoroughly. I expect a response from customer service and for appropriate action to be taken regarding Marlene’s conduct. No customer should have to feel mistreated or targeted while shopping.
I have also noticed that multiple customer reviews mention similar negative experiences with the same manager, Marlene. This suggests a pattern of unprofessional behavior that should...
Read moreI love shopping at ALO… I’ve been supporting this brand since they opened at UTC mall (La Jolla) a while ago. The only downfall to this location (fashion valley) in particular is the customer service. It is AWFUL! Greeting your customers or asking them if they need help is really not that hard. It’s retail common sense. To be honest, it is such a turn off because this has happened to me the last 5-7 times at this location… where I walk in and buy nothing, and either order online or went to the UTC location simply because the service is just that bad. I know many people who feel the same way about this location. And, the same people decide to shop competitors where they are simply acknowledged. Maybe staff needs to be retrained and take some tips from competitors like Lululemon cause I can’t say there has been ONE time I walked in there without someone acknowledging me AND asking if I need help, and on top of that they are busier...
