UPDATE: Another micro- aggression. Since I left my review they have now dimmed the lights in the room to a level where nobody can take pictures in there. These people love to bully their members. Machines are still all broken by the way! I have been a member for 3 years. The first year everything was amazing, the place was clean, the machines were routinely maintained. Years 2 and 3 the place has fallen off. All the good employees were replaced with dumb and lazy ones except for the sweet young lady with the glasses that is at the front some days. She’s the only person that is somewhat nice and she is barely even trying. Still nothing compared to the year 1 and some of the year 2 employees. Now the machines are always broken. There are also several with stripped cables that never get a broken sign put on them and never get looked at. The entire place smells like a zoo on most days. It used to smell like a doctors office. Another serious gripe is the attitude about the multi purpose rooms and the bike room. The way it used to be everyone felt free to use them. Now they cater to people who don’t even work out while disrespecting people who are serious about it. They pack the rooms with severely obese people and have them doing movements that don’t do anything for their physical or cardiovascular health. Now I do believe the rooms should be available to everyone but sometimes I want to go in there and there are literally people sleeping or one of the employees the blue haired lady sitting on the stage barefooted showing her dirty feet to the entire gym. Meanwhile they are passive aggressive towards the people who seriously work out that want to use the rooms to take photos. They have gone as far as to put a locked box over the light controls in the bike room. Passive aggressive moves to keep people from posing in there when the room with the stage is occupied. I have always loved this place but a large amount of these people, these phony “personal trainers” that won’t even let their clients put 1 45lb plate on a leg press, need to be let go. Upper management needs to be let go and replaced with the nice lady at the desk. I hardly see management looking people around and when I do it’s some red haired guy who looks like he has no idea what’s going on. The old management knew how to run a gym. What the hell happened? I want real answers and I want change. Regardless of how this is received I will be fully documenting everything from the machines to the bathrooms to the employees and emailing every possible extension of crunch fitness I can find to get...

Read moreI’ve been a member of this gym for a couple of months, and I just started using it. I almost canceled my membership before I started using it because I’ve read so many reviews saying that the place was dirty, mainly the locker rooms. I did not experience this on my first few visits, I experienced a very clean and immaculate place and thought the locker rooms were close to meticulous. So I thought maybe I just came by on a day where everything was clean and maybe that’s not the way. It is on a consistent basis. But I decided not go by the reviews on cleanliness and see things with my own eyes and 2nd and 3rd time. I’m 61, I’ve been to a lot of gyms thru the years, and some very high end gyms. I’m actually a bit of a gym snob and I can’t stand dirt and filth. But I found just the opposite at crunch fitness in Savannah. I thought the sauna was beautiful. I spent 23 minutes in it today and it was so clean, I had such a great sweat, and felt fantastic afterwards. When I left the sauna and came back into the locker room, restrooms and showers, which I had never really seen before because I haven’t used them. I thought they were immaculate. The bathroom was organized, showers and stalls and everything that I visually saw, looked immaculate. I was so impressed that I just needed to tell the person at the front desk. By the way, the staff at the front desk has always been helpful and up to speed and I’ve never had to wait more than a few seconds when I walk in if I have a question. I’ve been to some of the other gyms in the area and I have not seen a single gym as clean as this one. Very impressed and can’t wait to do my next sauna.if I have some free time, I’ll add some photos at...
