SeaSpray Park — Attraction in Seaside Park

I went here yesterday with my sisters, there was a girl upon entering which just told us we had to fill out waivers, she didn’t explain much at all , but she was a kid so we understood it was probably her first job. But even her she kept making faces at us, anyways we were filling the waivers and Then an older lady, told us to come in , which we did and she had the worst attitude which definitely felt racist towards us, because there was other people there who they were so nice too, and when she seen us her attitude was so nasty. My sister also left a review to which they played the small business card on. And tried to invalidate our experience as if we were lying??! Our kids were going crazy to go to this water park, which was so upsetting, as we really wanted to have a good time and support a local small business. They said in their reply to the review that we didnt even pay to enter the park yet, but this is why we didnt. Why would i pay for something if they were racially profiling us before entering. But upon this women’s behavior towards us we felt it was best to just leave. Her energy was just soo off with us and I would recommend if ur a POC or anything other than caucasian ! recently visited sea spray park and unfortunately had a disappointing experience. While I was looking forward to enjoying my time there, I encountered some issues that really affected my overall visit.

Firstly, the staff were not as helpful as I had hoped. When I approached them with questions or concerns, their attitudes felt dismissive and unwelcoming. This made me feel uncomfortable and left me feeling during my visit. There was a lady who worked there who had the worst attitude and wasn’t helpful at all but making are experience more complicated and stressful with KIDS. She did everything possible to make us change are mind for even going inside the park. Felt the racism here which is really sad we’re in 2024 grow up….

I believe that customer service plays a crucial role in creating a positive atmosphere, and it was disheartening to see this aspect lacking. I hope the management takes this feedback seriously and considers training their staff to provide a more friendly and accommodating experience for future guests.

Overall, I left feeling let down and would hesitate to recommend this place unless...

Loved it!! Took my kids (2 & 6) for the first time today, we will definitely be back this summer more than once. It wasn't overly crowded, more than enough space for the kids to all play, I was able to ride the slides with my 2yo wich was awesome because she was able to experience the whole place! The staff was so friendly, they kept interacting with the kids and asking if they were having fun!! They gave out FREE rubber duckies for the kids to play with! The food was delicious, which honestly surprised me, usually water park food is pretty basic but this was flavorful and the pricing was fair too! The gentleman (I wish I got his name, he is a tall man thin build long hair with tattoos) helping with the good was so nice!! I walked away to seat my kids and he brought my food over to me, I was again surprised by the hospitality!! Madison & Enzo were also super friendly!
