On our way up from PHX, we received a text inquiring about our arrival time. They were checking in to see if we needed them to accommodate a check-in time after their business hours; super considerate. We did not. When we arrived, we were greeted by a friendly young lady who was more than helpful. When we realized that we didn't have a view of the mountains, she found another room that had one without any reluctance. Our entire room was clean & beds were comfortable. We especially appreciated the fridge & microwave in the room since the town of Sedona seems to go to sleep after 9 pm & the only places that are open are the corner stores & an expensive steak house. The markets, pharmacy stores (Walgreeens, CVS) and restaurants were all closed or closing at 9:00 pm. FYI- If you arrive after dark, their sign is not lit up so pay close attention, we passed it once coming back from our late, expensive dinner ;) We would definitely stay here again. We purposely reserved this room to sleep & depart in the am for a 5 am hike. The room served its purpose & exceeded expectations. Thanks...

We did a road trip around the Midwest and West Coast and this remains one of my favorite over-night stops. Sedona is gorgeous and (not surprisingly) quite expensive. This inn was one of the cheaper options we found and I was pleasantly surprised. The room and bathroom were super clean, they looked freshly painted and the sheets were super crisp. The receptionist texted us before we arrived, making sure we know what to do should we get there after 6, when the reception closes. We managed to arrive at 5:30, and the lady was super friendly and nice, even recommended a couple of restaurants (we wound up going to one of them and it didn't disappoint). I really liked having parking right by the door to our room and also being able to walk out onto a small patio with the view of a beautiful mountain (the sunset is priceless). The only issue we encountered was the wifi. It was pretty slow to begin with (super common for motels), at 10 p.m. it shut off altogether. I'm still giving it 5 stars, well worth the price, would absolutely come back, beats any Super 8 I've...

4.147 stars. Not too bad. I can best describe this establishment through the lyrics of the classic 1974 hit song by Chicago (formerly Chicago Transit Authority), "Wishing You Were Here."

Sleepless hours and dreamless nights and far aways. Ooo ooo ooo, wishing you were here. Heaven knows and lord it shows when I'm away. Ooo ooo ooo, wishing you were here.

Same old show in a different town on another day. Ooo ooo ooo, wishing you were here. Even though you're far away, you're on my mind. Ooo ooo ooo, wishing you were here.

And I'd like to change my life, and you know I would. Just to be with you tonight, baby, if I could. But I've got my job to do, and I do it well, (Change my life) So I guess that's how it is.

Ooo ooo ooo, wishing you were here. Ooo ooo ooo, wishing you were here.

On the road it's a heavy load, but I'll be by. Ooo ooo ooo, wishing you were here. Pay the price, make a sacrifice, and still I'll try. Ooo ooo ooo, wishing you were here.

That being said, I'd stay there again. Also, I detected no evidence the grounds...

Booked on line, even paid, per person, to have the Inn not give our room away 🙄Went to check in and she gave me the price, I was taking out cash only to be told they don't take cash! 😡 That information was not on the website or was the fact that they don't accept AARP UNLESS you call and actually speak to a live person. They only take card ! The room was clean and the beds were very comfortable. The bathroom is large and was clean but not enough shelving and definitely needs a ventilation system. Only way to air out the steamy bathroom or stink 😆, is for steam open the bathroom windows which faces the parking lot 🙄, stink can go into the bed area by opening the door. The room above us was . The ceiling noise sounded like an apartment (which I guess is what the rooms can be construed as). The exit was blocked off by chairs so you need to be pretty good at maneuvering around other vehicles in tight space where our room was. Check out entailed just turning in room keys 🔑

Please do not fall for the nice photos and high reviews like we did. When we first entered our kitchenette room it smelled heavily of old smoke and incense. We asked for a different room and were given a room with no kitchen but the smell was better. We asked if due to being downgraded to a non kitchenette room if we would be reimbursed money. They explained this room was an “upgrade” because of the view ( see photo attached of the “view”). The air conditioning made unbearable noise all night( see video). There was also hair in the shower on a suction cupped shelf, bugs in the lights, room to door had a sticker covering up a window?, towel bars coming out of the wall, and electrical outlets did not work on nightstand. This motel has been “updated” but when we booked there were no photos of what you actually get. Sheets and towels were clean. We would not stay here again.
