Kate Spade Outlet — Local services in Sevierville

DO NOT SHOP HERE! Discrimination at its finest! 6/21/2024 between 2 and 3 pm, I visited the Kate spade outlet in pigeon Forge. I have always purchased Michael kors handbags in the past and have run out of different styles to buy. Upon approaching the door a woman stepped in my way and told me I had to wait, which I did patiently, there were approximately 7 patrons in the store at the time. When a couple exited I was allowed to go in, I told the young lady my husband will be here momentarily to pay for my purchases. I selected a couple of different handbags I wanted and as he walked up to the door to come in to pay for my handbags, (I told her he was there to pay) SHE WOULD NOT LET HIM IN TO PAY!! I have never seen anything like this. Said he had to wait to pay sorry he couldn't come in. Now my husband is full American Indian (Cherokee) and I am a causasion female I had a t shirt on that said Isreal from a visit there I am not sure if she had a problem with my husbands heritage, my shirt, or was just plain dumb. I have managed many retail locations in the past and you definitely don't turn down money. I will not waste my time o. Kate Spade products in the future. Maybe Coach will treat...

I'm convinced this place is racist. The first time I tried to go they locked the doors 20 mins early and refused to let me in. I returned over the weekend and no one greeted me. There were two females working.. one Burnette with a nose ring at the register and another tall blonde walking around. Another white couple came in after us, a husband and wife. They were greeted with warm smiles and offered assistance. I addressed my concern with the workers discretly after the other couple had left because I didn't want to cause a scene. I explained that was the reason my husband and I left. I really wanted a large Kate Spade purse and a wallet and had been looking forward to visiting the store as I do not live in the area but I can spend hundreds of dollars elsewhere where I'm welcomed. I explained that customer service matters and kindness goes a long way. No matter who enters those doors a simple hi or welcome in should happen. When I politely explained my issue, only the blonde apologized. The Gothic Burnette should be fired. I went to coach and spend well over a $1000.00. I'll never return to ANY Kate...

They closed at 8:00 pm on 3/12/22, so the closing time listed on Google is wrong. I drove an hour to get to the store and it was closed. I was so disappointed! I was window shopping since I couldn't get in, trying to see if there was a purse in there that I liked enough to drive back for tomorrow. Three different employees left the store at different times while I was looking in their window, obviously trying to see inside. They all walked right by me & none of them took a second to say hello, good night, or even sorry we closed early. Geez. I left and went to the Coach store and spent over $1000. Oh, and the people at the Coach store were very nice & helpful so that's why I ended up buying...
