HIGHLY RECOMEND Zion Guide Hub and our guide Grant!!!!!! There aren't enough words to explain how FABULOUS our canyoneering experience with Grant was or how easy it was to book through Zion Guide Hub. Not only was it easy to book our experience online, but they also offer private canyoneering packages (vs doing it with a larger group of people). The private session allowed Grant to tailor the experience to my fiancé and i's athletic capabilities and level of desired adventure. As far as guides go, we couldn't have asked for anyone better than Grant. Not only was he incredibly professional, friendly, knowledgeable about the land and his craft, and easy and fun to spend time with - but it was also clear from the moment we started to gear up that he was an expert in the field of canyoneering and someone who prioritized safety above all else. On top of that, he had an incredibly calm, grounded spirit that allowed my fiancé and I to put our minds at easy and truly embrace the adventure he had lied out in front of us - talking us through each part of it with patience and encouragement. He helped push both of us out of our comfort zone in a way that allowed us to get more out of our time canyoneering than we could have asked. Of everything we did during our time in Zion - including Angels Landing and The Narrows - this was by far our favorite activity. We will absolutely be back to Zion and when we make it back, we will be sure to book multiple adventures with Grant! If you are looking to immerse yourself in the beautiful slot canyons and landscape authentic to Zion while also going on an adventure you won't forget with someone who will encourage and guide you with safety, grace, calm and authentic appreciation for the priceless Zion land - then don't wait and book your canyoneering experience with GRANT at ZION...

Our guide Grant and his understudy Matt did a fabulous job of helping us (5 - 60 year old Floridians) have a wonderfully successful Angel's landing Hike. Grant has lots of experience in creating an environment that keeps you going at the right speed to maximize your adventure. From the beginning of the hike on the way up to Scouts Lookout, Grant spent a lot of time getting to know us, evaluating our physical abilities, and teaching us about the geological aspects of the area. After we left Scouts Lookout and completed the first section of chains we took our first stop in a big safe area. I asked a question... Is it okay for me to stop here and stay here and let the rest of the group continue on. I was 50:50 thinking my fear of heights was starting to become an obstacle I couldn't properly handle. He said absolutely you can stay here if you want and talk to all the groups that come thru. But he went on to tell me that I did really good in the last section, it doesn't get any harder, looking ahead can be too much to comprehend, if I just keep focused on each step and take one step at a time we can keep moving forward. If things go bad there are several other places ahead I could stop. He said your choice but I think your doing just fine. I was confident that he was being honest and understood me from all the conversations we had on the hike up to this point. I decided to keep moving forward. Both Grant and Matt kept a close eye on our whole group and we all ended making it to the top and had a wonderful experience. The whole group discussed after we left the Scout area on the way down how confident and comfortable we were from Grant's and Matt's guidance. They are AWESOME Guides. There was ZERO chance I would of made it without their guidance. Your new...

We did two hikes with these guys. In short, they were great. Here's the deal.

Tour 1: Tour through the narrows with Mark. Started early to beat the crowd which was effective and worth the 6 am alarm clock. Mark was a cool guy. The hike was totally customized for us and our level of activity. Shari V is pregnant so Mark made some suggestions to make the day easier and still get a lot accomplished.

Tour 2: Full day of hiking with Grant. Also, super cool guy. Grant was extremely knowledgeable about just about everything. We did a hike. In theory, me and Shari V could have done the same hike on our own but we felt like Grant was a major value add. He had tons of interesting and colorful commentary on everything from history to geology. And same as Mark, he rolled with our punches and customized the tour based on our energy level and ability.

We had a ton of fun with both of these guys. My only knock on Zion Guide Hub was on our first day, when we showed up a 7 am, it felt unorganized. Shop was barely open. There was a slightly older woman who kept asking who we were and whether we were taking the shuttle. The encounter made it seem like Zion Guide Hub didn't know who was who or who belonged where. In the end, everyone ended up in the right spot, but certainly, the check in process and initial engagement could use some polishing.

Our tour guides were great! They deserve the full 5 stars. I only docked ZGH a star based on the initial check in. I'd repeat with either tour guide. Mark and Grant both gave us safe, fun and...

As an experienced mountain biker, I've had the privilege of riding many trails across various regions. However, my recent adventure with AJ at Church Rocks was truly exceptional. AJ's knowledge of the area and his ability to adapt to my skill level made the ride both challenging and immensely rewarding. AJ's local expertise led us to hidden gems and trails that provided me a good introduction to slick rock riding that I wouldn't have discovered on my own. His knowledge of the trail was helpful as he could prepare me for each upcoming technical section and how to approach it. He also worked with me to extend the ride because we were making good time on our original path. One of the highlights of the ride was AJ's willingness to challenge me. He encouraged me to try more technical sections and suggested alternative lines that would test my skills. While there were a few moments where I felt pushed outside my comfort zone, AJ's support and guidance were invaluable. I left the ride feeling like I earned the his respect and had tackled new challenges - like hitting up to 4' drops. Beyond his technical abilities, AJ was a great companion. His enthusiasm for mountain biking was infectious, and we spent the entire ride discussing the sport, sharing stories, and laughing. It was clear that he genuinely enjoys guiding others and helping them discover their full potential. I highly recommend AJ to any mountain biker looking for a challenging and unforgettable ride. His knowledge, skill, and friendly demeanor make him an exceptional guide.

Did the AM bike tour with Austin a couple days ago, and then The Narrows hike with Austin and Kierstin yesterday. The bike tour was so exhilarating, and timing was perfect - for a lot of the time it was just Austin and I. Both Austin and I are bird lovers and we saw turkey vultures, male and female ground turkeys, and a brief but cool sighting of a California condor. We also saw grazing mule deer and two different sets of climbers scaling sheer cliffs! And the bikes were so cool! The ride was challenging, but not difficult - the battery assist made it very manageable. And certainly last but not least was the 360 degree endless natural beauty! The Narrows was so so worth the effort! Both Austin and Kierstin are very knowledgeable about the natural history of Zion, and would stop occasionally to point out water percolating out of the cliffs, naturally occurring watercress, and other very cool natural features. The hike itself for me personally was very challenging, and both Austin and Kierstin provided guidance and support...and the walking stick was the star of the show! And just like the ebike tour I was surrounded by natural beauty everywhere I looked. I had the time of my life, and both events were bucket list level experiences so heartfelt thanks to Austin and Kierstin! I highly recommend Zion Guide Hub and both Austin and Kierstin as excellent guides!

What an amazing experience! We did canyoneering 1/2 day and full day electric bikes. All 4 guides were fabulous! Sonny and Josh were our guides for Canyoneering we had 8 people all beginners, 4 adults 2 teenagers 2 eight year olds and I must say how impressed I was with the communication and education they had with our group. My daughter was a bit scared and how they handled and encouraged not only her but all of us coaching and cheering us along the way! We all gained confidence and I want to come back and do this again! Day 2 full day electric bikes same group but the little ones road on the back with their dads highly recommend for the littles! Sara Jane and Aubrey were our guides on this adventure and once again they were top notch! This was our first visit into Zion national park and what a way to see it on electric assisted bikes! We got exercise while seeing the beauty of nature and even a history lesson which we all enjoyed! These girls know their stuff and we had lots of questions and they had all the answers! Girls we can’t wait to return but next time I think we will be ready to hit the Narrows! Until next time…. Worth every penny!!!
