I went to Bonrue Bakery every single day of my trip to Zion - and I’d do it again in a heartbeat. I normally like to try different places but this place was incredible and had heaps of variety that I didn’t need to stray.
Originally I wanted to buy things from the supermarket to make a packed lunch for hikes but it was so expensive there. Then when I found Bonrue, I didn’t look back. Their ham & cheese roll and chicken salad croissant became my go-to hiking lunch, and everything else I tried was just as incredible.
The pastry here is next-level — flaky, buttery, perfectly done — you can feel the love and skill in every bite.
Over my stay I also devoured the banana cream pie, key lime pie, strawberry rhubarb pie, the ham & cheese croissant, and the tomato tart. 10/10. No notes.

Read moreI visited this restaurant and found it to have a cozy atmosphere. However, it seemed like the servers were a bit inexperienced and a little unsure, which made the welcoming feel a bit off. It's understandable since they're still learning, and I think there's potential for improvement. When I asked questions, they were always willing to help and provided good answers, which I appreciated. The food, on the other hand, was truly enjoyable. I tried a pastry that was delicious, and I had a couple of cups of Americano coffee, which were surprisingly good. The place has a small, homey vibe, but I did notice there isn't much seating available, either inside or outside. There is a little outside area by the petrol station, but it might not be the best spot for a long stay. Overall, there were some ups and downs, but I could see the effort...
Read moreWOW! Nestled behind the Oscar’s Cafe sign, you’ll find this hidden jewel, an open, airy & pristine yet inviting spot. The presentation of the baked goods is absolutely gorgeous…every offering is a feast for the eyes, & that’s before you even have a chance to taste anything. Luckily, we were offered a selection of samples, & when I tried the perfectly sweet & delicate Kouign Amann, I knew Farmstead was a special spot. The quality, selection & variety of pastries rivals that of my native NYC, not only providing something for everyone but also many amazing options from which to choose. Our croissants were simply outstanding…buttery, light & delicious. Plus the staff was super-courteous, helpful & passionate about their pastries. Needless to say, we’re now big Farmstead fans & this will be a must-stop...
