I originally popped into this delightful candy and ice cream shop on a simple mission: get my husband his pre-dinner ice cream fix. As someone with a milk allergy, I didn’t expect to indulge—I’m usually left out when it comes to dessert spots. But then… magic happened. My husband spotted chocolate-covered bananas on the menu, and to our amazement, they’re made with a milk fat–free dark chocolate! 🎉 That might not sound like a big deal to everyone, but if you have a dairy allergy like me, you know how rare it is to find truly dairy-free treats—especially chocolate. I couldn’t resist. I ended up with a dark chocolate mango slice and a dark chocolate–dipped Oreo too (yes, dreams do come true). Each bite was indulgent, flavorful, and allergy-friendly—perfect for treating myself throughout the week. Whether you’re a sweet tooth, an ice cream enthusiast, or someone navigating food allergies, this shop is an absolute gem. Do yourself a favor and stop by next time you’re in Springdale—you might just find your new favorite treat! 🍬✨ P.S. they have juicy pear (and many other flavors) jelly belly jelly bean dispenser. I went home with a half pound of juicy pear 🍐

The woman who works here is very nice and helpful. They have a decent variety of chocolate and candy including Mexican candy. I really liked how customers can select just a few of each item in jars unlike some other places that require a minimum amount. I judge candy stores based on the freshness and this candy was extremely fresh. I was impressed. Also really liked that they had some items I’ve only seen in Europe. A little bit of everything and something for everyone including old fashioned gum like Clove and Blackjack. The chocolate covered almond cluster was a bit salty which took me by surprise but was rich and thick and great value. The chocolate mint was my favorite, very decadent. Recommend a stop at the Springdale candy company when visiting Zion.

We walked up to the counter and they served us right away. The service is great and the people are nice. We had ice cream and they had a variety of great flavors for kids to enjoy and adults too. The best ice cream we have ever had. Great root beer float with IBC root beer. Aside of that the assortment of yummy chocolates layed out looked delicious. It is such a cute little store and is a great place to eat ice cream after visiting Zion National Park.

We stayed in Springdale for a week during our honeymoon, and one of our nightly rituals was to come to Springdale Candy Company for our post-hike treats. They have a great selection of candies, caramel apples, chocolates, sodas, sweets, and other fun creations. Some of my favorites were the pecan turtles, dark chocolate-covered Nutter Butters, and the dark chocolate-covered Biscoff caramel sandwiches. Their prices are also incredibly reasonable; they could charge twice the price and it would still be absolutely worth it!

The owners are incredibly kind and welcoming -- on my wife's birthday, Kim even made her a custom Biscoff-coated caramel apple!

We also tried the ice cream a couple of nights before we left, and wished we had done so earlier! They have a great variety of custom flavors (I got a scoop of Dave's chocolate green chile, which was an excellent sweet heat, and came back later for the "jolted cow", which was an excellent espresso mixed with brownie chunks); one scoop was just the right amount to enjoy while walking around town.

Truly, this shop is a must-visit during any trip...
