Bizarre experience. I used to live in the area and return periodically to visit family. I like to stop at this specific shop because they have a nice array of items and they are typically friendly. The visit last night (6/20/20) was anything but friendly. We had to ask repeatedly to get help from the woman behind the counter (no name tag), we asked for advice for a gift that might appeal for Father’s Day and were told “just get him a shirt or something.” We inquired about what one of the Buddha statues was made from, as we might have chosen that particular one if it was sandstone, and we received a one word answer, then she returned behind the counter, facing away from all the customers as she had been unless someone tried very hard to get her attention.
Finally, upon check out, my younger cousin wanted a few knick-knack items and was paying with cash. She received the wrong change back and upon realizing it (we were still at the counter), we had to try twice before we could get the woman’s attention for help on correcting the issue. She argued the change had to have been correct, and even when told what my cousin received, which was still laying on the counter in front of us, she huffed and pulled a new bill from the register to exchange for one of the ones in front of us and then moved on without another word. The change still wasn’t correct. I ended up pulling a $5 from my own wallet, giving it to my cousin, and removing my little group from the store, as this was causing a panic attack for my cousin.
We stood outside of your store for a few minutes while she cried, embarrassed, and calmed herself, because she has learned how to use grounding techniques when the anxiety takes over. She NEVER should have needed to do this, though. Regardless of anything else going on in the world right now, your actions contributed to giving her a panic attack when all she wanted was to patronize your shop and get something small...
Read moreA very nice gift shop with a variety of gifts and souvenirs of the area. I was greeted warmly and the lady helped me choose what I needed. My questions were answered cheerfully. The store gave a very clean and neat look. All things were priced reasonably. This little store is well located to buy gifts and souvenirs for your friends and family. Enough parking is available adjacent to the store. There was a cute dog sitting inside the door and when I told the clerk that I am allergic to dog hair, she pleasantly moved the dog behind the desk. Loved the store....
Read moreWe had a great time shopping Zion Canyon Offerings. We stopped here 4 times during our visit to Zion. We found wonderful gifts for everyone on our list, plus some great souvenirs for ourselves. They have items for all price points and lots of one of a kind treasures. We will definitely be back. The staff was very friendly, attentive, and helpful. They helped me pick a silver chain for a pendant I was purchasing, and...
