•topic dialogue Serving at the Museum since October 2022 until March 15, 2023. Has been a great honor.
Here is my #backstory to not only just #serving, #working & #playing at the direct GLAZIER Children Museum in general. When I had arrived to be hired at the GLAZIER Children Museum last year October I was honored knowing where I was just coming from a background of specializing in the field of #mentalhealth as a BHT which is Behavioral Health Technician entry level position. As I was able to bring those skills to the museum & add them along with many other great professional skills that too aided me along this journey of this full experience of the museum. I was able to apply them all! I applied the skills set that I had gained from working with the company YMCA as an youth care after school counselor in this Playogolist position that I was hired working at the GLAZIER Children Museum. I was able to apply even too the Customer Courtesy Service position skills set too that I applied within this position working at the GLAZIER Children Museum. I was able to even apply being a natural Dad as you see I'm a Dad to these two beautiful children in general while they got to experience enjoying the GLAZIER Children Museum in general too as I was working there & many occasions they got to witness the professional work ethic that was exactly displayed. They enjoyed the good service that I was able to serve unto them & even still customers too encouraging them to keep enjoying these rare moments to add so much value to their family memories. As I had got my Dietician Nutritional certification I was able to apply that within this position able to deliver great high performance even displaying the natural talents & gift's within me to even ingrate with the experiences I had encountered at the museum overall. In this moment today as I went to serve/work/play I was directly let go in general surprised very much so with No! Inform. I'm sharing this post because, as today I had experienced being "release & let go". I've been waiting to share not just an post about recommendations of going to this place. I'm sharing this because, just as I served & worked in the Mental-Health field beforehand coming & getting hired for the museum in general. I was able to share the services unto so many customer's about being an guide into deep pre'meditation unto meditation aiding them to connect to the infinite everlasting eternal Creator for me I call the Creator the Most High YAH. I was able to also share healthy nutritional facts with families even into guiding with encouraging to eat daily value nutritional meals as I practice this with my family & all. I even shared this too with co-workers. I was able to even perform just naturally supporting families to encourage their children to read in story-time along with applying the Infinite Creator the Most High YAH natural talents & gift's in me. I witness children complimenting me. I witness families laughs, smiles & also too their inner'beingness/inner'child coming out of them to just be enjoying deeply the moment. As also an trauma informed specialist I was able to detect symptoms of behaviors of direct children behaviors & was able to curve their behavior aiding the families through many transitions especially within a museums unto the next exhibits. So yes in all these direct encounterings & now added more skills I'm very grateful in the position I was able to serve directly in. Last towards all the direct equipment within each exhibit the one on the first floor name "Color Cloud" I believe was one of the many great experiences along with apply much joyfulness to doing the too end of the day parade. In the Color cloud I applied to guide so many soul's within their direct bodies to truly connect with such deep sensations within themselves in such melody playful ways that it was just honest amazing to see in general. If you would like to contact me reach out to me.

Read moreGlazer's Children Museum is a great venue to take your children to if you're ever in the heart of downtown Tampa, Florida. It's in a great location, sitting between the Tampa-Hillsborough Public Library, Tampa Museum of Art, and the Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park. So while making the Glazer's Museum the main event, you can take your children to the park or along the Tampa Riverwalk afterwards.
With the William F Poe (Poe) Parking Garage conveniently located next to it, you can enjoy a relatively hassle-free drive to the venue. You pay for the parking up front. While there is no parking fee waive with the museum, you're spending approximately $3 an hour for parking that has overhead protection and is fairly secured.
Like most other children's museums around the nation, Glazer's is suited for toddlers to children approximately 5 years of age. The themes and areas may not necessarily be appealing to anyone older than that.
And like most other children's museums, the areas and "exhibits" are centered around the aspects of daily life (such as supermarkets, doctors, veterinarians, farms, etc.) With that being said, the Glazer's Children Museum is a spacious three-stories in size. I came here with my youngest on a Saturday, and while there was a steady stream of families through the venue, I never felt too cramped or crowded.
On the first floor, you'll find a small store along with a food court area. There is also a rather large elevator to accommodate multiple families with strollers which is quite nice. It is also where you will find the first museum area/exhibit. It is a sizeable water exhibit so the kids naturally gravitate toward it. Prepare to get wet, but have no fear they do provide a limited number of splash bibs!
There is also a set of stairs that ranges all the levels of the museum, if you don't want to use the elevator. What immediately stands out with the Glazer's Children Museum over most other children's museums is the hanging "climber" (essentially a transparent maze of various level platforms that your child can safely navigate through) and a section on the second floor, aptly named "Forts" (this is where your kids can essentially play and build forts from the usual household furniture and furnishings.
The third floor is dedicated to their dinosaur/Triceratops exhibits. It's actually pretty cool if you find yourself geeking out over dinos.
Also with the reciprocal membership from another venue, admission to Glazer's in the month of October was entirely free. Overall, a great place to visit at least once with your...
Read moreFebruary 2025 We come here at least once a month. We have such an amazing experience every time. There are three floors of fun, my daughter is obsessed with their water display on the 1st floor along with the Vet Clinic and Publix Store on the 2nd floor. I do recommend to take their advice and start from the 3rd floor and work your way down. My little one is currently obsessed with Dinosaurs and I get bummed that we haven’t been making it up there the past few visits because my little one adores playing with all of the displays. The front desk is quick, yet very friendly and respectful.
August 2025 The museum itself: I cannot recommend this place enough if you’re coming for an entire day. It’s a great spot to have a field trip or a family day. On Inclusion Tuesdays it does get busy, especially in the summer. It looks like the museum is ending the program though, they’re advertising that next month will be their last Inclusion Day. I originally had a 4 star review. The museum has family-friendly amenities such as a nursing room, stroller parking throughout the exhibits, and a diaper vending machine to name a few. The staff is always friendly and ready to assist in any way. They also attempt to keep the museum toys tidy. The kids always have an amazing time when they come and never want to leave.
For me they did loose a star this month due to a special event. They advertised a Gabby meet and greet. Nowhere on their website did they advertise that it was going to be a costume, not the actress. On day one you could HEAR the disappointment in the room when the costume came out, rather than the actual actress. The line waiting was excited, cheering, then a brief heavy silence when the costume came out. Of course we gave it some positive energy after that, the kids were there and we wanted them to have a good time. But you could sense the disappointment. I thought I missed something when booking. No, nothing on the museum’s website, not even on the Q&A information provided. We had to click on a link to Gabby’s website and scroll ALL THE WAY DOWN to the very end of THEIR Q&A to be told it was a costume. I ask that next time, please be very upfront. Because we were not the only ones disappointed by the way the meet and greet...
