My husband and I took the cooking class tonight. There is a large area for improvement. First being you are there about two hours and the only drinks offered are water and tea with no ice. Tap water with no ice. For $59.00 per person, I would not expect to have to share cooking utensils in groups of 4. The paper towels you have access to are equal to something from a dollar store at best. 4 people had to share 5 carrots, a salad that had roughly a 1/4 cup each of spring mix, with zero additional items in it. No tomatoes, no croutons, onion, cucumber just the generic spring mix. This was more a snack than anything and while spending $120.00 per couple, I expected more. Especially given the fact that they stop midway through the class to ask you to shop. If you are selling $5,700.00 espresso machines, I think you could do far better with your “classes”. The class was far too crowded and it was extremely uncomfortable to have to eat food others taking the class prepared. It should have been my husband and myself making our meal and each other person or couple making their own. The instructor was nice but did not seem to be a true “Chef”. The staff were all very nice, the class was just very poorly executed. Once you were finished preparing the meal, you had to stand to eat. They need to scale back the class size to half. 16 people cooking in an area roughly the size a a hibachi table was not comfortable or enjoyable. The meal was not one I would ever remake. The seasoning was chaotic and not fluid. Overall the class was very disappointing. The “chef” did not even know to turn the vent on with steaks (1 steak for 2 people by the way!) being seared in a strongly over seasoned mixture. The smoke was offensive to say the least. I would strongly recommend going in person to look at the set up before scheduling. My husband bought the class as a date night without going in person. Neither of us enjoyed the awkwardness of the...
Read moreExtremely disappointed in both the quality of the product and the lack of customer support from Sur La Table.
We received a set of knives as a Christmas gift from our daughter. They were used lightly in a home kitchen and always hand-washed, yet within months the blades began peeling—raising serious concerns about both durability and food safety. I contacted customer service (corporate) with photos and a respectful request for an exchange, store credit, or even a partial remedy.
Instead of standing behind their product, they flatly refused to help, citing policy. Even worse, they responded by offering a promotional code to buy more products—as if I would ever spend more money with a company that doesn’t support its customers or the items it sells.
This was not just disappointing—it was a complete failure of the kind of customer service I expected from a brand like Sur La Table. I am posting photos so others can see the condition of these knives after just a few months. I hope this helps someone avoid making the...

It is located inside the market Street in The Woodlands Houston Texas. The parking lot is clean new and modern and has handicapped access. The staff is very helpful and will explain how to use the items that you're interested in. They have a lot to choose from. It was my first time here and I will come back again. I enjoyed my experience shopping with them. I highly recommend this to anyone. If you like my reviews please leave a thumbs...
