I can imagine walking behind/ under the Falls is a fun experience. But that would have been a tremendous safety hazard today (14 Nov).
Although it hasn't been snowing for a while, some parts were completely frozen. You can have a look from the corner of the street that will lead you downhill (there are parking spots right there, but you can hardly tell). There's a short cut down to the fall, but it has changed into a dangerous icy slide. You will fall/slide down if you even attempt to go down. But... it was so magical!! What a view.
Go around the Falls to take a short hike uphill (very doable, we did it with our young kids). You will be able to have a closer look.

You can see the falls from above on the Canyon Rim Trail, but there’s also a path at the bottom, in front of Centennial Waterfront, leading you behind the waterfall itself.
There’s a good chance you’ll get wet on this route, especially when the waterfall is at its strongest in summer, but this...
