My recent stay at the Harrison SPA Motel was nothing short of a truly serene and enjoyable experience. From the moment I stepped foot on the premises, I was greeted with genuine warmth and a soothing atmosphere that immediately put my mind at ease.
The staff at the Harrison SPA Motel went above and beyond to ensure my comfort throughout my stay. Their friendliness, helpfulness, and attentiveness were second to none. They were always available to assist with any queries or requests I had, leaving me with a sense of being valued and well looked after.
The motel rooms were impeccably clean, comfortable, and tastefully decorated. The cozy charm of the decor created a welcoming and inviting space where I could truly relax and unwind. The beds were exceptionally comfortable, guaranteeing a peaceful night's sleep.
While the motel did not offer dining facilities or breakfast, there were plenty of fantastic dining options just a stone's throw away. I greatly appreciated the staff's recommendations for local restaurants, which allowed me to indulge in the culinary delights of the area.
One of the standout features of the Harrison SPA Motel was its idyllic location. Nestled amidst breathtaking natural beauty, it served as a perfect refuge from the chaos of everyday life. The stunning views of mountains and lakes were a sight to behold and added an extra touch of magic to my stay.
All in all, my time at the Harrison SPA Motel was an exquisite escape from the ordinary. The amiable staff, serene ambiance, comfortable rooms, and convenient location all contributed to a truly memorable and enjoyable experience. I wholeheartedly recommend this motel to anyone seeking a tranquil retreat and an opportunity to recharge in a...
Read moreThe positives first -beds are very comfortable. Staff is friendly. It is a cute motel with a LOT of potenial. Close to the beach. Unfortunately the negatives out way the positives. The room was dirty. They said they did a thorough clean but they didn't. There was dirt in there from months ago. Baseboards were dirty. Behind the night stands and couch dirty. Dirt between the fridge and stove from years. Cob webs hanging from the ceiling. Stuff left on the carpet in the bedroom. Dead bugs on carpet under the window. Was not even vacuumed! I'm not sure the window would pass for fire regulations for a bedroom. I don't think I could climb through it! Carpet is very stained. It would be hard to keep clean being that close to the beach. Room smells musty. Bathroom is very dated and falling apart. Walls have flakes falling off. Cabinet doors don't close. The door to the outside doesn't close well. (Which is how the visitor got in I think!) We were booked for three nights but ended up spending one. We had a mouse in our room!! Poop all over the counter and behind the couch and around our bags. Manager came to look and was picking up the poop with his hands!!! I warned him but he kept doing it! He said they would do a thorough clean - heard that before. I just didn't trust it would be to my standard and the mouse was probadly still in the room. He still made us pay $75 for the nights stay! We went over to the hotel next door -Harrison Beach Hotel. We paid $50/night more, well worth it and this point. It was clean, bright, oh did I mention clean! And no mice! Like I said the motel has potenial and I know they are trying to make changes but to charge that much for a what we had - I feel it...
Read moreOur stay at Harrison Spa Motel was highly disappointing due to misrepresentation, lack of service, and unacceptable conditions that made our experience uncomfortable and unsafe.
First, the room was unclean and in poor condition. It had a horrible odor that made it difficult to sleep, and the carpets were filthy. Worse, there were shards of glass on the floor, creating a serious safety hazard, especially for our dog. Additionally, the bathroom had broken tiles that were merely covered with packing tape instead of being properly repaired.
The plumbing was another major issue. Every time we or our neighbors used the water, the pipes made loud, unsettling noises, further disrupting our ability to rest. The overall condition of the room and its amenities was not only uncomfortable but also far from what was advertised.
On top of this, the service was nonexistent. When we tried to check out early due to these conditions, we waited 45 minutes for assistance at the front desk, called both advertised phone numbers without success, and were ultimately forced to leave a note before departing. Attempts to follow up afterward were met with no resolution, and my phone number was even blocked when I tried to escalate the matter.
This experience was completely unacceptable. The hotel’s advertisements did not accurately reflect the actual conditions, and the lack of service made it impossible to resolve the issues on-site. Given the severe inconvenience and safety concerns, I believe compensation is justified. Do not believe...
