This place is easy to find and is situated in the main strip of the waterfront. If you're looking for something good to eat while you're at Harrison you can't go wrong with this one - or maybe you could. You decide.

The service is pretty good and really friendly. Our server treated us well although a little too frank and a little impersonal; and my party felt a little too rushed at the end for a restaurant that was less than busy - we were alone in the back area. In most lower midrange to high end priced restaurants, I would normally be asked to stay as long as I want, and to take my time regardless if I was ordering more food or not (more on this later).

The food was generally tasty. It came out promptly, and by prompt I would say roughly 10-20 minutes after ordering. I ordered the calamari dinner and my party ordered a mixture of roast lamb, souvlaki, spanokopita, and lamb poutine. The calamari was done well (4.5 stars if I had to give it a rating). Everyone else's dishes looked good as well except for my sister-in-law's souvlaki was burnt which she didn't bother complaining about since the kids were hungry. The one general negative comment was that the pita bread should've been served as an appy but was instead served with the ordered dishes, already soiled in the oil of the mains. In most Greek restaurants I've eaten, this is usually an unlimited appy - and not soiled in oil. General positive opinion was that the portions were generous.

The following paragraph will explain why this isn't a 5 star rating. I would even give this restaurant 3 stars but base on food and service alone with the above paragraphs it's 4 stars (over-cooking food to burnt should technically make it 2-3 stars but it could be a one off mistake - fingers crossed). The below items I believe are very subjective and based on my experience with other Greek restaurants, my view of a family-friendly lower range restaurant (which I believe this is), and the pricing of such restaurants.

My wife is a vegetarian who opted to trade her rice pilaf and potatoes out for more veggies, was charged an extra $2 for a few more veggies (a couple more broccoli, cauliflower, and carrots). Not sure how that is justified but I can't seem to rationalize it myself. If my wife was asking for more veggies without any trades then maybe justifiable - but that isn't this case. Also extra tzatziki is $1.50. I know a few Greek restaurants that will normally comp this for big parties but will normally charge 50 cents to a dollar. Pricing-wise I would compare this to a mid-range level restaurant but generally I find Greek restaurants on a more family-friendly and low end level. The service based on the pricing level their menus hold would be expected to be better - but of course it wasn't. So in this regard I would say their food is a little overpriced for little gain. Again we were in the back area with no view so perhaps I would feel differently if we had a great view to make it worth the price point. I think in hindsight the fact that it wasn't busy at peak dinner time in mid summer high tourist time says that the restaurant has some room to improve on.

Overall my experience was decent and I would actually recommend this place as the food was actually good albeit the one hiccup and the service was friendly although not as expected. My few recommendations for the restaurant is to improve the services to meet the menu price points, change how items are charged, and have better supervision on the food coming from...

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Milos Greek Taverna in Harrison Hot Springs, and I must say, it was an unforgettable experience from start to finish! From the moment I stepped inside, I was warmly greeted by the attentive and friendly staff. Their genuine hospitality made me feel right at home, setting the tone for a comfortable and enjoyable dining experience. Their knowledge of the menu was impressive, and their recommendations were on point, guiding me towards the perfect dishes for my meal.

Now, let's talk about the food! Milos Greek Taverna offers an extensive selection of authentic Greek dishes that are bursting with flavor and made with utmost care. I began my culinary journey with their traditional Greek salad, which was a work of art. The vibrant colors of the fresh tomatoes, crisp cucumbers, olives, and feta cheese combined harmoniously, creating a symphony of flavors.

For the main course, I decided to indulge in the roasted lamb , a beloved Greek classic. Each bite was a revelation, as the tender eggplant, seasoned ground beef, and velvety béchamel sauce danced on my taste buds. It was evident that the chefs paid meticulous attention to detail, using only the finest ingredients to craft their dishes.

To complement my meal, I opted for a glass of refreshing Uzo, a traditional Greek spirit that elevated the flavors of the food. The licorice-like taste of Uzo perfectly harmonized with the rich and savory notes of the Greek cuisine. Alternatively, Milos Greek Taverna also offers a selection of 1516 beers, meticulously crafted to provide a distinct and satisfying taste that pairs exceptionally well with the Greek dishes on the menu. Whether you prefer a lighter or darker beer, you'll find a 1516 brew that suits your taste buds.

The service throughout my visit was impeccable. The waitstaff was attentive, ensuring that my glass was always filled and promptly addressing any requests I had. They went above and beyond to ensure that my dining experience was memorable.

The ambiance at Milos Greek Taverna is warm and inviting, with a touch of traditional Greek decor that adds to the overall charm of the restaurant. The soft lighting and comfortable seating create a cozy atmosphere, perfect for an intimate dinner or a gathering with loved ones.

Overall, my experience at Milos Greek Taverna exceeded my expectations. The combination of friendly service, delectable food, and inviting atmosphere makes it a must-visit destination in Harrison Hot Springs. However, it is worth noting that the drink prices are quite steep and may not be reasonable for everyone. It would be beneficial for the restaurant to consider adjusting their prices to make them more affordable. Nevertheless, this should not overshadow the exceptional dining experience that Milos Greek Taverna offers. I highly recommend it to anyone in search of an authentic Greek culinary adventure that will leave them longing for...

I visited Harrison Hot Springs for my birthday after New Years and was very limited with dining options. We walked into Milo's with no reservation and was greeted promptly by a friendly server named Joe who gave us a window table. He continued as our server and gave us excellent service and delivered hot, delicious appetizers and entrees. I had Calamari as an appetizer that was lightly breaded and tender and my friend had Saganaki which disappeared very quickly. For my entree I had the Salmon which was perfectly seasoned and juicy. My friend had the Prawn Souvalaki which were plump and tasty. We shared our entrees, which were accompanied with rice, roast potatoes and garden vegetables, all cooked perfectly. Unfortunately, I didn't have any room for dessert, but joked with Joe that I would have to come back the next night, which we did. The second night, we were greeted by Tracey, who remembered us from the night before, and sat us in Joe's section. Joe was happy to see us again and asked us if we would like the same drinks that we had the night before, which is a hallmark of excellent service. We enjoyed the Seafood pasta and Spanakopeda dinner and I would be remiss to not mention the amazing Greek salad that we enjoyed both nights with our dinners! Our water glasses were never empty, our dinners arrived at our table promptly with a smile, and we enjoyed a leisurely dining experience in a comfortable Greek ambiance. My friend had dessert on the second visit which disappeared before I had a chance to sample it, so I look forward to returning to Milo's in the summer and enjoying the roof-top patio, enjoying the beautiful view of the lake, and maybe ordering dessert first!!! Thank you Joe and Milo's for making my birthday special and memorable. I will be back with my friends again. I will make a reservation for my next visit as I anticipate that this wonderful restaurant will be busy. See you soon! Keep up the excellent standards with service, food quality and...

As a Greek I can say the worst about this place.Prices where insanly expensive for the portion of the food .The service was ugly .Waiter was like I order food in Mac donalds .In and out .Calamari was like 20$ for like 15 pieces of "calamari".We also got gyro plates and a "greek salad" .Only god knows if that thing was Gyros.I never had guro like that in my life in a bad way .Do not even call it gyro please in the name of Gyro god.🤣 Where in Greece have you seen shreeded feta in a gyro wrap ?Who puts Feta for gods sake in a gyro wrap and diced cucumbers? What I ate was an Arabic wrap and I had better in other places . Anyways the place only has an nice view .Do not eat the gyro plate . Salad was like a small salad size that you get into tim hortons again with a touch of shreded feta 🤣. I am born and raised in Greece and I would not recommend this place for anyone to eat the gyro, calamari and greek salad . My bill was 115$without tip for 4 items and 2 glasses of 90z wine. I never give bad reviews but I had to write this review as I am very disappointed from this place. A way to resolve this issue is to actually learn about Greek cuisine first and then throw plates to people for like 20$+ and call it Greek restaurant . Thats my opinion some people will find it helpful some not .But please google Guro pita and look at the picture I uploaded and compare.

We stayed at the Harrison resort this past weekend and my wife really craved Greek salad and I ordered 2 take out orders of your Greek Salad. SERVICE I'll start out by saying I was greeted with warmth and a very happy staff that helped me with my order. As he went to check my order another staff also checked in with me; both were very professional and pleasant. When I received the bag with my salad, my initial response was "wow this is very light" and had to check if there were two orders there, and yes there was. FOOD When I got back to the hotel and took a look, I was shocked by the size of this salad in each container. I feel like it was half full. I don't expect a container busting at the seems but to be honest, it looked looked like a kids portion. Although it tasted fresh and well seasoned, the portion was so disappointing especially for that price (I even tipped 10% to pick up this food.) Two of these salads for a total cost of $32.34 for 2 of these salads is just not right. I get it, prices are a higher in this area but this is just not okay to charge folks that amount of money for such a small portion. I've read a few other reviews and noticed there are are few others that are similar.
