They were pretty good, I liked the teas I bought. But the vibe from the staff was not great. It seemed like they couldn't care less that I was there or that I was interested in buying tea. They also talked the whole time I was there about making money and selling things to people which was pretty poor taste.
I got a latte and it was very sweet, I don't know if it was the milk alternative or if they added it but I would have liked to be asked if I wanted it sweet.
Ucluelet in general kind of seemed like they didn't really care for people out of town. So maybe that's what this was about. But for a town government that seems interested in bringing more and more tourists to them these guys should probably be a little more interested in providing a...

BUT I'm also here to preach about an item here that's not tea...and that my friends are the baked fresh daily homemade biscuits served piping hot each morning at opening.
These are world-class, melt-in-your-mouth biscuits with cheddar, red pepper, jalapenos and a whole lotta love. Crispy & crunchy on the outside, so moist & chewy on the inside...do NOT miss these nuggets folks!
Oh, and of course you can get your hot/cold tea of all kinds: black, green, oolong, chai, herbal, white, rooibos & white by weight...and yes the do to-go cups if that's all you're looking for....
   Read moreWe were looking for a refreshing drink this afternoon and so glad we popped into Thay Tea! The ladies were friendly and helpful explaining the bubble tea options. I had the blackberry hibiscus (I think) iced tea with lychee jelly and it is was fantastic. Husband enjoyed his mint chocolate smoothie. Aaaaaaand there's baking! White chocolate lavender blueberry muffin was really delicious (very lavender flavored, which I like, not husband's cup of tea) but he liked his chocolate cookie!
