This little homely and colourful hotel is in a great location just near one of the elevator and next to many restaurants and cafe. The views from the two terraces are just amazing and not many hotels can boast such views. The breakfast is served on the lower terrace and the upper terrace is open for guest use. The whole house is colourful, full of memorabilia, creeky, old and musty but also very atmospheric. The host (it is her family home) is very friendly and nice and the rooms are light, quiet and comfortable. However, don't expect a boutique hotel. This is an OLD family home and it is a bit creaky and dusty in some places. You must also like cats as there are 3 cats roaming to house and it does smell at times. One of the cats jumped onto one bed when we left the door open for a few minutes. However, there is hot water at any time of the day (in contrast to what some of the reviews said), the shower in the main shared bathroom is new, and breakfast was served at the time we indicated. The place has the most beautiful plants all throughout the hostel and has numerous balconies looking over the sea and the main town of Valparaíso.
