Green Forest Vacations Homes — Hotel in Monteverde

Cannot recommend this place more. We were traveling with two families and got two cabins that were just the right size for us (one family of four in the one bedroom and one family of six in the two bedroom plus loft). There are only three cabins total, and the pool is really nice — but very very warm, almost hot. Pool is enclosed on three sides and open on the fourth. Basically private given the small number of cabins that can access it. The location was central and convenient, and concierge where you checked in at nearby glamping place was efficient and helpful but not pushy. (Free beer on arrival!) We also had part of our group experience travel delays into San Jose, and they were so helpful as we considered various transport options — eventually booking a private shuttle that was great to get them reunited with us. Great location (except for the road outside the driveway). The space was large and well equipped. Most notable was the fantastic staff. We had an incident with our vehicle and Valeria Who happened to be walking by was amazing with getting us help. She even stayed around To ensure that everything was taken care of and provided translation for us. She also gave some great recommendations for sites to see. The staff was also very helpful with some WiFi challenges and even walked over from the sister property to help us out. I would definitely stay here again! The place is amazing both in terms of the location and the amenities. We thoroughly enjoyed the bungalow and the pool. The location is nr to the main town, so everything is in 5 mins of driving distance. The amenities are excellent. Everything is provided for - utensils, towels, appliances, toiletries, etc. The service is very responsive. We just messaged them on Whatsapp and they immediately responded. Highly recommend this place for anyone considering a great location...
