We stayed in the Anna Maria room for six nights and couldn’t have been happier with our choice. This is their largest room, a gorgeous suite with a living room, bedroom and huge ensure bathroom with a large soaked tub and hand held shower wand. I got a chance to look at the other three rooms located on the second floor, and while they were nice, they were definitely much smaller, so if you can, I’d ask for the Anna Maria suite. It really is a lovely room.||||We have stayed in Cesky Krumlov before at hotels near the town square but we liked this location better because it was much quieter with very little pedestrian traffic. ||Also, if you arrive by car like we did, it is one of the few places in Cesky Krumlov where you can actually park your car...they have a parking lot just a few feet away from the hotel. However, be warned that the street you have to drive down to get to the hotel is very narrow and I recommend you fold in the outside mirrors in so you don’t scrape them on the walls as you drive down the street...we did that one day! So be warned!||||As other reviewers have mentioned, the location is great and you are in walking distance of everything. If you do take your car out, you have to get a special permit that allows you to drive in the pedestrian only area. And the police had a road check set up one day so make sure ask for this permit when you drive in and out. There is a small fee for this.|| ||The breakfast was excellent! Hot items including scrambled eggs and bacon, hard-boiled eggs, lots of fresh fruit, cheese and cold cuts, pastries and coffee cakes, yoghurt and cereal, Fresh rolls and bread, juice, and the best coffee we had on the whole trip! We ate so much at breakfast that we didn’t eat again until dinner!||||I highly recommend the Penzion Kapr. The perfect choice for a stay in beautiful...

Read moreFuture guests please beware of this property and the couple that own it. They are extremely prejudice. I went in trying to book a room and I wanted to use chase travel points, as we are low on funds. I tried telling the owner that and he said “no only cash”... he wasn’t understanding, so I wrote it out in google translate, but the whole time the guy had an attitude with me, in the mean time, a man came in and they spoke and laughed and everything was fine, so I told him (over google translate) that it would be nice if he was just as friendly to someone that speaks English as he was to him. And I said that very nicely and mildly. He then opens up the counter in front of his desks and starts to push me out of his house, shocked, I said “Hey?? don’t push me??” And i did nothing in return, like push back or anything, as I don’t believe in retaliation, and THEN HE SHOVED ME SO HARD that my arm hurts and before he could get any more angry and violent, I walked quickly off his property, literally this is the whole side of it. I didn’t reply angrily, I didn’t push back or even give a few choice words or fingers... I did nothing of the sort. And this is how he treated...
