The Golden Angel - Hotel — Hotel in okres Český Krumlov

Absolutely, it is not 4 star hotel. We are very disappointed our stay here. Here are 3 my disappointment reasons. I won't recommend this hotel if you would like to use WIFI smoothly.

1)Delayed Check-in time & unhelpful receptionist

We came for check in twice at 12.00pm and 16:30, but unfortunately both are not ready our room(Hotel's check in time is 14:00). Finally we could checked in before 18:00!!!! The receptionist is unfriendly and not helpful for us. She have not given us the map untill we asked for. Then, I asked her about any good restaurant near the hotel, she said "There is an information desk that just across the square. Please ask them". We gave up to ask her and found good restaurant via Tripadviser.

2)Poor breakfast

We had breakfast around 8.00am, but suprisingly there are nothing hot meal.(All run out!) It is weird there is free morning Champagne offer with such a poor breakfast service.

3)Very weak WIFI connection

Room facility is fine and beds are comfortable, but there is no kettle and cups. WIFI is very weak at the room, you need to go to the reception floor to use WIFI if you would like to use it...

The location of the hotel and the rooms are good but unfortunately, the service is quite terrible. Since cars without a permit cannot enter the pedestrian zone where this hotel is located, the hotel sent a car to pick us up from their parking lot. Unfortunately, the driver was quite rude and obviously did not want to do his job. Upon checking out of the hotel, we asked the hotel to drop us off at the parking lot again so our pre-arranged driver can take us to our next destination. The hotel said they can arrange the transport in 15 minutes if we paid a "parking fee." When we refused to pay the fee since our pre-arranged driver was only pick us up near the lot rather than parking inside the lot, the hotel said they could only provide transport if we waited 60 minutes. When we asked to speak to the hotel manager, the staff at reception said that was not possible. I recommend you spend your money at a different hotel where you can get some respect.

Extremely bad reception desk service , arrogant persons. We paid a double room and we got doble but single bed room in attic area with gallery. This a 4 star hotel and no elevator , no AC , no help to take the luggages to the room to the 3 rd floor level stage into attic room. I have asked another room but answer was impolite at the reception desk , "No other room" However we prepaid the room, 130 Euro per night and we got an accommodation on the "second class building". I am absolutely disappointed with the customer service, and arrogant managing the guests and claims. Next day the arronangcy continued, it was answered that there another 3 available roöm but on same floor level in attic area, on 3 rd floor level... I would not recommend to anybody to come to this hotel. I visited many countries, but such kind of arrogant and unfriendly , poor front desk service and bad quality of room could not be seen all over the word in 4 star hotel. I would never ever again to come here. No cleaning of room on 3 rd day. No bed...
