Pension Amadeus — Hotel in okres Český Krumlov

The Pension is clean without fault. Our room was spacious enough for our 2 large pieces of luggage. It overlooked the main street / river. There was NO NOISE other than 7 am or so when working folks started commuting to work (in other words, no racy raucous drunk bar folks at 4 am .. so I am confused about any comments about noise). The bathroom contained all the things bathrooms do ... toilet, sink, large shower, towels. Only thing I found odd, and even after mentioning to proprietor ... 2 1/4 oz packets of shower gel and 2 1/4 oz packets of shampoo on Day 1. I mentioned a bit more would be nice. Nothing was put in room. Day 2, zero replaced. Might not seem like a big deal ... BUT ... just tell me to buy my own in town or bring some with me. Please don't think 1/2 oz of shower gel is enough for 2 adults. Other that that...

Fantastic. We rented five rooms for a few nights during a family holiday in CZ. Every room was immaculately clean, spacious, well appointed and with the little luxuries you would expect from a more expensive hotel. Car parking was excellent, with secure parking for ~10 cars available. ||||The hotel's location is perfect. Right on the edge of the old town, it's an easy, 5-10 minute walk into the centre and yet it's far enough away from the centre to avoid all the noise and late night pedestrian traffic.||||The continental breakfast offered a wide range of foods and was good value for money. Finally and most importantly, the owners (a husband and wife team) were fantastic. Super friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble.||||We will definitely stay here again when we return to Cesky Krumlov. Highly...
