Pension Ametyst — Hotel in okres Český Krumlov

Charming pension in the centre of Krumlov with rooms that have been furnished with love and care (and Ikea – which is totally fine, I do have Ikea at home too).||Since we booked the same day via booking.com we ended up in the room right next to the reception. As we only stayed for one night it was absolutely fine for us. Otherwise it would have been a bit weird with the receptionist sitting behind the counter only three meters from your bed. ||The room was clean and had a view towards the garden. Apart from the bed being squeaky and the rainshower being broken (which we told the staff at check out) it was a really beautiful stay. ||The breakfast served on the room is also quite nice – they serve it at the time you want and is a perfect start for a slow day in this picturesque town – and the staff was very friendly and helpful. ||They also tried to get lactose free stuff for breakfast for me. Unfortunately, the store didn’t have anything in stock – since we booked only a couple of hours before we arrived, this was absolutely okay. It counts that they tried, anyway. Our room held a fridge, and since there are also apartments with small kitchenettes, one can stock up for the stay.||This pension is the perfect getaway for a couple of days and I am looking forward to coming...

Das Ametyst wirkt von außen ziemlich unscheinbar. Unser Zimmer (das "Apartmán") entpuppte sich jedoch als zwei große Räume (Schlaf- und Wohnzimmer) mit Kochnische, kleinem Wintergarten und einem wirklich edlen Bad. Die riesige Badewanne erforderte beim Ein- und Ausstieg allerdings gewisse Kletterkünste und ist für gebrechliche oder anderweitig körperlich eingeschränkte Gäste eher nicht geeignet. Mit dem Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis (73 Euro pro Nacht) waren wir sehr zufrieden. Das im Preis enthaltene Frühstück war okay - nicht mehr, aber auch nicht weniger.||||Ein großer Pluspunkt ist die Lage: Die Pension befindet sich unmittelbar vor dem zur Fußgängerzone erklärten Altstadtbereich. Man ist also sofort in den wunderschönen kleinen Gassen von Cesky Krumlov. Gleichzeitig kann man problemlos bis vor die Tür fahren, sein Gepäck ausladen und nach dem Einchecken auf dem ca. 300 Meter entfernten Parkplatz der Brauerei Eggenberg parken (kostenpflichtig, aber bewacht). Direkt gegenüber vom Eingang des Ametyst befindet sich zudem eine Postfiliale mit EC-Schalter.||||Leider mussten wir in zwei Bereichen kleine Abstriche machen: Zum einen hätte das Klo mal gründlich geputzt werden müssen, auch wenn das restliche Bad sowie die anderen Räume in punkto Sauberkeit absolut in Ordnung waren. Zum anderen sprach die Dame, die das Einchecken abgewickelt hat, wenig englisch und wirkte etwas überfordert von dem ganzen Procedere und meinen Fragen nach Parkmöglichkeiten etc. Vielleicht war sie ja eine Krankheits-Vertretung - man hatte jedenfalls nicht den Eindruck, dass sie das Ganze schon oft gemacht hätte. Am Ende hat dann aber alles gut geklappt.||||Fazit: Bei den im vorherigen Absatz genannten Punkten handelt es sich wie geschrieben um kleine Abstriche. Insgesamt können wir das Ametyst empfehlen und werden es für künftige Besuche in Cesky Krumlov auf jeden Fall in die engere...

In this picturesque little town, this stay is an absolute must. Although I only booked for one day, which was of course too short, it did not detract from this wonderful experience. The hostess was extremely friendly and helpful. The room was very clean, comfortable, and pleasant.

I made use of the whirlpool and enjoyed the relaxing wellness facilities. The atmosphere was wonderfully relaxing and soothing, something you really shouldn’t miss. Additionally, a delicious breakfast was served, making the stay even more enjoyable. An absolute 5-star experience in a...
