The avant-garde Le Jardin restaurant that fuses the creativity of Czechia French cuisine seems to have plentiful to offer in both sophistry and finesse in their menu. Yet, the such rekindle of cuisine should be done proper without making culinary mistakes especially for a top tiered restaurant that is decorated with so many good reviews.
Unfortunately, both the lamb and duck were too dry that failed to elevate the texture of both meats. However, the singing praises of the lamb dish is salvaged by the right blend of flavor accompanied red wine sauce, lovage and smoked barley that salvaged the dryness of the lamb when it could be better experienced with a medium rare for the doneness.
The duck leg, looks like a makeshift display of a soup kitchen during winter time that doesn’t give any appetite inspiration at all. The flavors of dish was ladened with cabbages sweetness and bread that confuses us whether the lead character were them instead of the duck leg.
Perhaps the saving grace, would be the cleverly crafted starters that amuses our palate dearly, intriguing us further with the beef consommé and the foie gras pate which were just delightfully tasty with us wanting more.
