I've book a Romance package, for my Wife birthday. Night 1 : The restaurant close very early (8:00 PM) and we feel pressure on us to leave. No choice for the main course. No choice on the table, we had a bad table in the middle of passage. Not very romantic…
Day 1 : The 1st part of the breakfast is normally brought in the room. We booked it for 8am during the dinner the day before. At 8:15, still no delivery. We call the reception and received the information that it will come in 10 min. 8:30, still nothing. We decided to cancel it... Let's go the restaurant to take the "normal" breakfast. 30 min wasted waiting in the room for nothing. Not very romantic… The wine bath and beer bath has no wine or beer. It's just a small dose of a special product in the water. Bath and massage are not taken side by side for the couple, but one by one. So one is waiting in the room while the other is receiving is bath and massage. Not very romantic…
Night 2 : It’s 6:30, and we want a small bottle of champagne in our room, so I go the bar in order to buy one. The bar is empty, quiet, no even a bartender… It’s finally the receptionist who give me a bottle from the reception… After some complains about the service, we are finally able to choose or table for the dinner. But the restaurant still close very early, and we are not elderly... Not very romantic…
Morning 2: The 1st part of breakfast is finally delivered in the room on time. The whirlpool pool is broken, we cannot enjoy it... It's time to leave, and we are on time for our check out. I request my car which is in the hotel parking, with elevator, so driven by hotel staff. After 20 min waiting, I ask to the reception why it's so long. It seems there is a problem with the elevator. My car arrived finally after 40 min waiting.
The only ray of light that warmed up our stay is Teodora, the receptionist. She was very nice and kind with us. She try to solve all the problems for us. I feel she is the only one attentive to our stay in this hotel.
Conclusion : this hotel definitely not deserve 4 stars. The price is clearly too high for a bad quality of service and...
Read moreI've travelled to over 60 countries in the world and I've never been treated as poorly as I was when I walked into this hotel.||There's no way Interhotel Central is a four-star hotel because the front desk receptionist, Aleksandr, is so rude that he should never work in tourism.||I was looking to switch from another hotel and I wanted to check out Hotel Central. I walked in and I asked Aleksander in Russian if he knew of any cosmetics salons that were open on Saturday. ||He could have said “No, sorry, I don’t have that information” and ended the interaction there and that would have been a normal answer. ||But he preferred to say: ||"No. You're asking the wrong question. Why should I know this kind of information? It's not like we have deals with all the stores and salons in town. You could look this up on the internet."||How can a four-star hotel train its staff to be so incredibly rude to a potential customer? I have gone into hotels, hostels, other tourist businesses and asked similar questions and people answered me politely because they knew their job was to orient and serve people who were not locals. ||I told him that it's a typical question for tourists to ask which businesses are open on a weekend. Not all of these small cosmetic salons even have websites or have all of their information on the net.||He said that I was asking an impossible question and that it was not his job to know this information. He was mean and angry. ||If the Interhotel Central wants to maintain its reputation as a four-star hotel, it needs to make sure it doesn't hire vicious people who are evil to tourists.||People come to Karlovy Vary to escape from the evils of the world and to heal themselves, not to have a hotel worker spew...
Read moreIt was like a fairy-tale. From the very beginning and to the very end.| The stuff was super-friendly. Alexander at the reception was patient and attentive to every single query.||Rooms were designed is style of 19th century and the hotel itself with antique furniture, gold candelabras created unique atmosphere. ||The rooms were really clean, we got cleaning every day. During the cleaning, we got fresh towels, body lotions, shampoos. In addition, we had a tea pot in the room and the supplies of tea was renewed every day.||Another great point to choose this place is food. We were getting breakfast, lunch and dinner and all of them were fenominal: selection of salads, snacks, drinks and mains that would suit to everyone ( vegan, meat and fish-lovers). The food was always fresh and served hot.||Finally, treatments were absolute joy. Medical stuff was professional and polite: doctors, nurses and other professionals. They were delivering the best service and made feel really comfortable. I was getting hydro- massage, wax therapy, electric treatments and warm mud experiences.||Also the mineral water resources were really close to hotel that made the process of water treatment really easy to follow.||It's just another occasion to thank amazing stuff of Hotel Central that made us to experience the most...
