Hotel Black Star Suites — Hotel in Prague

This hotel is linked to the Clementin next door and the lovely Jitka looked after our bags as we arrived early.||The hotel sits in a quiet side street but at either end, you'll find a whole host of different shops and restaurants.||The apartments are lovely and spacious and well looked after.|We only encountered one issue with our room and that was a peculiar smell which we initially put down to being a chemical/cleaning product maybe, however as the week went on, I changed to think it was possibly some fresh pain somewhere in the apartment.* Just remembered the slow draining shower.||Breakfast was great on the day we had it (we tried somewhere new every day) ||It was handy being able to obtain local currency from the hotel too.||Absolutely we would stay here again in this beautiful building in this...

It's my first time coming to Prague, and I had a unpleasant experience here. First of all, the room was not completely clean when we first entered the room. We called the reception, and the staff apologized and believed the cleaner "forgot" to clean some areas of the room. Second, we were informed that the room key was only valid for 2 days, while we had booked a 3-day, 2-night stay. We needed to go down and wait for the staff to update our card. Last but not least, the air conditioners were not working. We reached out to the reception several times, but it was not fixed eventually.

Perfectly convenient location. Despite being so close to Charles Bridge and being on the main tourist route from old town square, it is surprisingly quiet and peaceful. ||We had a lovely and helpful welcome from the reception staff (located next door to our building in Clementine) and they were kind enough to look after our bags for the duration of our last day as we checked out at 11am but our flight was at 10pm. ||The room was lovely and in a really special building; you could feel the history of it throughout. Our bed was comfortable and the whole Duplex 'Room' (actually 2 floors!) we had was spotlessly clean. Would definitely recommend and gladly...
