2025-Oct.

We arrived early via transportation arranged for us by Hotel Rott- from the airport to the hotel, 35EUR. The staff at Hotel Rott warmly welcomed us, happily holding our luggage while we explored the city. When we came back later, we realized we’d lost our luggage tags — but the front desk staff remembered us and quickly retrieved our bags. Their kindness and attentiveness really stood out!

When we finally got to our room, a box of chocolates was waiting for us — such a thoughtful touch! The room was spotless, and the AC cooled the space quickly once we adjusted the thermostat. The bed was super comfortable with six pillows in different sizes (a dream for picky sleepers).

The room had everything we needed and more: complimentary bottled water, coffee, espresso, and slippers. There was a small fridge with extra drinks available for purchase. The smart TV came preloaded with Netflix, Disney+, and other streaming apps — just sign into your own accounts (and remember to log off before leaving).

Complimentary earplugs but we didnt need it because it was quiet the whole time we stayed.

For travelers, there are EU wall sockets on each nightstand (bring your EU/US adapter), and the bathroom was impressively equipped — wall-mounted soap, lotion, shower gel, and shampoo, plus small bottles of conditioner, shower caps, cotton tips, and even a makeup sponge. I especially appreciated the wall-mounted magnifying mirror and strong water pressure in the shower!

Plenty of counter space, clean towels, glasses for brushing your teeth — every detail was thoughtfully arranged. When my hairdryer didn’t work, I called the front desk, and within minutes, they brought a replacement. Excellent service!

And the breakfast? Absolutely fantastic — a vast selection of fresh and delicious options, and their hot chocolate was one of the best I’ve ever had. 😍🤩

Hotel Rott is just a few minutes’ walk to Old Town Square, making it the perfect location to explore Prague. I absolutely love this hotel and would stay here again in a heartbeat!

My wife and I went to Prague in September 2023 to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary. I have to say that I didn't know anything about Prague or places to stay so I went off other people's reviews which is why I chose the Hotel Rott to stay at. Their reviews were outstanding. We stayed in the Hotel for 6 nights and I truly couldn't have been happier with every aspect of the Hotel. I loved our room, I loved the staff, I loved the breakfast each morning but most of all I loved the location. When I booked the Hotel, I was immediately sent and email from the Hotel's manager thanking me for the booking and availing themselves for anything my wife and I would need including a ride from the airport on arrival. Being that I like to see the city, I asked for instruction on using public transit instead and they gave me the buses and trains to take to the closest metro stop which is probably a 5 minute walk from the front door of the Hotel. After that I asked for help for the day of my anniversary and they went out of their way to help me plan a great day for my wife. That hands on approach never stopped. Once we got to the Hotel the front desk was always available with info about the city and places to go. The front desk team was really great. The hotel room was beautiful and very well appointed. The breakfast each day was as great as other reviewers have said. They had hot and cold favorites including some traditional Czech things. The location cannot be beat. It's right around the corner from the Astronomical clock and withing a 10 minute walk to Charles Bridge. My wife and I walked everywhere and saw almost all of Prague. I really enjoyed my trip to Prague and staying at the Hotel Rott was a big...

I booked a 4-night stay in Hotel Rott after months of diligent search in the internet. I picked it from among many other choices based primarily on its location, customer reviews, and quality of its website. On the day we checked in, I was naturally anxious because (1) the hotel didn’t look particularly impressive from the outside and (2) I knew fully well that my wife had rigorous eye and nose tests for cleanliness and smell. Well, the room that we were initially given didn’t quite live up to her high standards and we made our feelings known to the the front desk staff, who to their credit tried to accommodate us as quickly as they could. By the next day, they moved us to a beautiful room with a nice view, and consequently for the rest of the week, I had a happy wife and me, a happy life. The hotel’s extras provided a nice touch - a welcome bottle of red wine (which was changed to white on our request), chocolates, free bottles of water every day, and access to the rooftop terrace that allowed a panoramic view of the city. The breakfast was a pleasant surprise, not only for the quality and variety of the food and beverages but also for the ambiance of the venue, as well as the professionalism of the service staff. If we ever have a chance to go back to Prague - a place that captivated us and we totally fell in love with for its wonderful sights, awesome architecture everywhere, its accessible (and for us seniors, free) public transportation system, and most importantly the warmth and friendliness of its people - there’s no question in my mind as to which hotel we’re going to stay in.

I loved this hotel. The location is unmatched, right in the heart of Old Prague, a few minutes (or seconds) walk from so many tourist attractions. The rooms are surprisingly spacious for a European hotel – and air conditioned! The beds are very comfortable, and the amenities are generally good. The only cons are: there's a safe, but it's quite small; a laptop or a large tablet would not fit in it. And the shower is very narrow and quite claustrophobic. But those are rather minor faults. The reception staff was nice and helpful. The breakfast was good but not great. The bread was not always fresh. The champagne was a nice touch, and there was quite a wide selection of tasty food, but it was often unclear what the exact ingredients were (for example, what was vegetarian, contained lactose or gluten, etc.). There were no vegan cheeses or spreads except for the good old margarine. The staff was nice but not very helpful, and some servers barely spoke any English. Overall, I would definitely return to the Rott. Its location, space, and old European charm overcome some minor deficiencies and make it a very pleasant place to stay at while in Prague.
