The female server started acting rudely from the moment we entered. As we tried to move inside, she didn’t allow us, saying that all the indoor seats were occupied and there was space outside, using a harsh and rude tone. We said we were fine sitting outside but asked if they could turn on the heater like they had for other tables. She claimed there was no gas, yet everyone else was sitting with their heaters on. Once again, in a rude manner, she told us to leave if we wanted to.
As a staff member, she should first learn how to properly communicate with guests. She doesn’t have the luxury of choosing which customers to serve. Not liking her attitude at all, we went inside ourselves and saw that there were empty tables. When we asked a different server, they confirmed the table was empty and told us we could sit there. The other staff members were quite polite.
The food was okay, but there is no justification for trying to send us away when so many tables were empty. Her uncomfortable stares as she walked past us were also truly unpleasant. Additionally, she was speaking heatedly about us in her own language, which was entirely inappropriate. While we were seated, we also noticed her saying similar things to other guests...

Read moreIf you’re in Prague and want to experience real Czech cuisine (and Czech beer, of course 🍺), Bohemia Restaurant is the place to go!
You must try their traditional Czech creamy sauce dish — it comes with your choice of beef, pork, or rabbit. I went for the rabbit (first time ever eating it!), and it was absolutely amazing — rich, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. My wife, who’s vegetarian, wasn’t exactly thrilled about the rabbit part (she squinched her forehead at me 😅), but luckily, there are vegetarian options too! She had the traditional fried cheese, which was also delicious and came in a very generous portion.
The restaurant is located right in the heart of Prague’s Old Town, so yes, it has “Old Town prices” — but honestly, it’s worth every koruna. The food, the service, and the cozy atmosphere make it a fantastic dining experience. The staff were super friendly and attentive, and the best part? The beer is...
