Bar 23 — Restaurant in Prague

Nvm they aight..

Used to be the go-to bar for me and my friends but it's had a gradual decline. Now I refuse to come here after my recent experience.

First of all, at some point I noticed them pouring water into our drinks. While this is not an okay thing to do, we gave them a pass since the atmosphere was good and we felt the drinks.

Secondly, at some point after we started coming here, the bar staff began forcefully asking us if we'd like to pay a tip. I always say no as this isn't the US, thougy my friends sometimes paid. Tips should be given as gratitude, not asked for by the staff.

But the last time I went there, ignoring that the prices increased by some 50%, the bartender asked for a tip, and as usual, I said no. However, the bartender started telling me the last time I was there I told him I tip at the other bar but not here??? What other bar?? I dont understand what he was on. This was after I returned to Czechia after half a year. It felt extremely sketchy and seriously pissed me off. It was a very uncomfortable experience for me and my friends.

Yesterday night my boyfriend and me were searching around all the city centre a bar with nice atmosphere and pina colada. Before we found 23 bar, we were in 4 other different bars, but non of them had pina colada. I almost lost a hope to find this nice drink, when my boyfriend just wrote "pina colada" in the Google maps bar and one of the options was this bar. We decided to give it a try and it was definitely our best decision! We are staying in Prague only for couple of days, for holidays and so far we had no good luck with bars, until we found this one. Stuff is super nice there, helpful, friendly and they speak English. Atmosphere is homy and relax. Price is excellent and drinks are really good! Some times they have offer 2+1 gratis for shots, that looks nice. It was real pleasure to meet barmens, they are good...

Super uncomfortable and not welcoming wouldnot recommend anyone I felt rushed and pushed to buy!
