Hotel Caesar has an excellent location, with trams only 2-5 minutes away. Upon arrival, we were greeted by the most wonderful staff—extremely helpful, smiling, and kind. It gave us a great start to our trip.
In my booking, I had noted that I was traveling with my mother and aunt, who both have knee problems and get overheated easily, and the hotel took this into consideration. We were given a room on the first floor with excellent, quiet air conditioning. The hotel itself is cozy, charming, and very clean - simply delightful.
Our room was exceptionally spacious, tidy, and equipped with three large, comfortable single beds. We slept very well. The elevator service was quick and reliable. The air conditioning worked perfectly, the Wi-Fi was strong, and the housekeeping was outstanding. Towels were replaced daily (and you could choose to not have it replaced for enviorements sake), the beds were neatly made, and the room was restocked with fresh Nespresso capsules (the room had a nespresso machine - delightful!), tea, toiletries, and toilet paper. Everything was spotless and smelled fresh.
The service overall was excellent, and all the staff were genuinely kind and cheerful.
Breakfast was in a class of its own. The friendly, smiling staff welcomed us warmly, and the buffet offered everything you could imagine: hot dishes, pastries, bread, a wide selection of salads and cheeses, yogurt, and even chia pudding. There was plenty of fruit, fresh juices, and ginger shots - a delicious way to start the day. Large juice dispensers and three high-quality coffee machines (including a big Nespresso machine and two others serving everything from Americano to café latte) made it even better.
We warmly recommend this hotel to everyone we know. If we return to Prague, Hotel Caesar will definitely be our first choice. The price for 5 nights for 3 people, including breakfast, was incredibly reasonable, it felt almost too good to be true. We had compared several hotels and apartments beforehand, but Hotel Caesar clearly stood out as the best choice, and with good reason.
Many thanks to the best...
Read moreWe stayed at Hotel Caesar Prague for two nights and, unfortunately, it was a disappointing experience. The beds and pillows were extremely hard and uncomfortable, making it difficult to sleep. I requested a mattress topper and a softer pillow after the first night, but the staff responded dismissively, insisting their new mattresses were "good"—with no effort to accommodate or even empathize.
The staff overall came across as cold and disengaged. There was no sense of hospitality or effort to enhance the guest experience. On the second night, I couldn’t sleep at all due to the sound of someone snoring in an adjacent room—it was so loud, it genuinely felt like the person was in bed next to me. The rooms are clearly not soundproof, which is unacceptable in a hotel of this category.
While the room was large, it felt awkwardly empty, as if furnished without much thought. The TV was quite small relative to the size of the room, though we didn’t end up using it. The flooring consisted of cement tiles, which added to the cold, unwelcoming atmosphere.
All in all, the combination of physical discomfort, noise issues, and apathetic service made for a disappointing stay. I would not return and cannot recommend this hotel.
Reilly to the answer received from the hotel: A second duvet/blanket was provided the second night after multiple insistences to the several staff. The pillows were the same (unchanged). I'm sorry but my appreciation of my stay at Hotel Caesar Prague...
Read moreMichael was exceptional given he only recently joined. He was very welcoming and his customer skills were next to none. ||Aisha (I doubt this is her real name), another colleague doing the night shift, on the other hand was dreadful. Customer skills were non existent and her attitude was abysmal. On one occasion i was reminded to use my card to open the entrance door in a condescending manner as if I disturbed her personal time.||On another occasion I came downstairs to get toilet roll. Again, she just ushered me to another colleague to get what i requested whilst she was on her mobile phone. The final straw was asking for water. The time displayed for the hotel bar for Sunday is 16:00 -00:00. Nobody was at the bar when I left to go out and when I came back around 11:45pm. I kindly asked for water to a response of “the bar is closed and they are separate from the hotel. So there is nothing I can do. She then said “you can walk to the mini market or get tap water in the toilet”. Her response was not helpful; she couldn’t fathom how to deal with confrontation and de-escalate. Utterly unwelcoming and gives the impression of not wanting to be there. Along with this she began mumbling words in Czech that we could not understand, when asked what she was saying she said “don’t worry”. She was extremely unprofessional and rude to me...
