Read moreThey canceled our booking the day before check-in, and then rented out our room to another customer without calling or emailing to notify us. We didn’t discover the cancellation until arriving at check-in. They had no units left for us to rent.
At the time of the booking seven months prior to the trip, I mistakenly added an extra day. I immediately contacted them to shorten the stay by one day, and received multiple messages confirming that my stay had been shortened and that my check-in was date was one day later. Unfortunately that was a lie, and they never shortened my stay. When I didn’t show up on the original date of the booking, they simply canceled it. They never bothered to call or email me.
They apologized and placed us in another unit, but it was nearly 30 minutes away from Mala Strana, which is specifically where we wanted to stay. The replacement apartment was loud due to ongoing construction next door. They offered a $5 bottle of Prosecco as an apology.

We reported the issue to the management, but instead of changing the bed or offering us a different room, they tried to fix the bed — unfortunately without success. During our three-night stay, instead of solving the problem, they kept arguing with us, which only added to our frustration. In the end, the management asked us for photos, even though the sound of the bed obviously couldn’t be shown in a picture. We still sent them photos as well as three videos, yet they accused us of lying. Regarding check-out time, we were originally told it would be at 11:00. On the last day, they said we had to leave by 10:00 instead. Then, they claimed they were “doing us a favor” by letting us stay until 10:30. A few minutes later, they messaged us again saying we were right all along, and that their colleague had indeed told us 11:00. In the end, we still checked out at 10:20.
