This review is not about the museum. It's about the café at the end of it.
First of all, finding a table was awful. The tables have benches that seat 8. It's incredibly hard to find a table without sharing it with another group.
So you've somehow found a table. Oh great, the menus are in Czech. So you ask a waiter for an English menu. And they tell you to look around the tables. They don't look around themselves. They tell you.
So you've found a menu. You're ready to order. You ask a waiter. You order. I ordered a Diet Coke. And I got a classic. Ignoring the wrong order, you start to eat. And it's awful. You lather it in salt and keep eating. And it's awful. You finish. You ask for a dessert. You order the ice cream. It takes a while.
You've got your ice cream. And it's good. And you finish it. Easily.
Then you ask for a bill. It takes a long time. And you look at it. It's overpriced. Bad service, bad food and wrong orders. You grudgingly pay it. "Do you want to give a tip?" And you glare at the waiter. Think of the awful experience. And think of the audacity the waiter has to ask for a tip. So you say no. And leave.
And to top it all off, you don't get a mint with your bill.
Go to the museum, but don't go to...

Read moreThe restaurant: Would not recommend. The staff was very rude. We waited for such a long time for a waiter (but since they all ignored us) we thought we had to order in the bar. When we went in to order they were very rude when they told us they would come to take the order. The mojito we bought was very overpriced (for Prague) and tasted like water with a little bit rum in it. When we asked if we could pay with card, they said that it was not possible. When we asked where the nearest ATM was it was suddenly possible to pay with card... When we went inside to ask to use the restroom there were six (!) employees totally ignoring us and not interested to show the way. This place is not interested in customers, spend your money...
