Best value for money in the area. Very highly recommended! Lovely, clean house and reliable owners. My absolute favorite place during my stay in Egypt.
LOCATION
Excellent location. Close to shops, restaurants and the bicycle rental of Mohamed Setouhy, which I highly recommend.
STAFF
Ahmed, the owner is very reliable and responsive He can offer the pick-up from the airport (a bit pricy for Egypt standards I believe but I still took it, my flight was delayed of one hour, he did not ask for money for the waiting time, I would definitely do it again) I had to book one additional night, no discount or round down here, expect to pay the very exact fee, which was fair enough in my opinion. Ahmed also offered to take us to Abydos but I found his prices quite expensive in this case, however might be interesting if you want to avoid researching too much. I found someone else through TripAdvisor.
PLACE & AMENITIES
Really great! Lovely house, convenient and clean, with a nice little terrace. As usually the case in Egypt, not much of a heating system and I visited the house in February, so it was a bit to cold but really acceptable. It is mostly annoying in the bathroom. An additional bed cover would be nice though. There's a water heater, which was very convenient for us to make tea. You could also cook in the place if you would like to, the kitchen tools are maybe somewhat old, I personally did not need it. WIFI : working, sometimes a bit slow but compared to EU, the WiFi in Egypt is usually slightly worse
PRICE / QUALITY
I think it was definitely the best value for money in the area at the time I did the booking. Additional services are tendentially a bit price I would say, but in Egypt I think it is an option to bargain.
TIPS Personally I highly recommend to stay in the West bank if you hesitate between West and East banks in Luxor. The ferry boat to the East bank costs 5EGP when taken collectively, if you want to go directly without waiting, you will usually be asked for 30 EGP (not per person, but for the fare), sometimes 20EGP. The fare takes about 2/4 minutes. Ferries depart pretty much all the time during the day and the evening. For the Valley of Luxor take the bicycle of mister Mohammed Setouhy (7 min walk from the house). Expect to pay no more than 50 EGP per day and bike, maybe less, I did no try bargaining the price. The restaurants close to the Nile and the little port are quite nice and I think all have a price list (not always easy to have a clear idea of the...

He ran around to help us get our guide near our door for us for no personal interest. The food in that cafe was also so amazing. Highly...
