Paradise Pyramids View INN — Hotel in Giza

Misleading and disappointing stay avoid this hotel Unfortunately, we were deliberately misled by this hotel. On Booking.com, there are two different locations listed under the same name: Paradise Pyramids View Inn. One location has a swimming pool and better facilities, while the other does not. There is also a big price difference between the two. Because of travel delays, we missed our scheduled taxi and were taken by another driver to the wrong location. Around 5:00 AM on July 19, the reception at the wrong hotel called the real Paradise Pyramids View Inn to ask for the correct address. To our surprise, the staff gave the address of their cheaper second location the one without a pool and with worse facilities. We only found out the truth when we asked about the swimming pool around noon. Only then did they admit that we were staying at the wrong place. Later, we were taken to the correct location, but there were no two rooms available. Instead, we got one room with three beds. This room was dirty, and both the room and the bathroom were in poor condition. The shower was full of mold and the floor was wet. I took photos as proof. This felt like a clear case of intentional deception. Using the same hotel name for two different places on the platform is very confusing and unprofessional. I reported this to Booking.com before we left, and they said they would investigate but I haven’t heard anything back yet. My advice: avoid this hotel. The worsts! We stayed one day. The list of issues is a mile long.

The first being they were rude. Not a word was spoken to us about anything. Nothing about breakfast, times, services. Nothing. In fairness much was communicated via WhatsApp, but that is a sorry excuse for customer service which should be done in person.

I spent hours researching a hotel with a pool only to find out I was placed in an offsite location and had to be driven to the pool somehow.

Beds were hard as rocks.

Elevator broke. They said it would be half an hour to repair and over an hour later we decided to forfeit our reservations and had to drag heavy luggage down flights of stairs. While I have no idea how it is possible, oil was leaking out of the walls all over the floors from the elevator repairs.

A mosque with huge loudspeakers is very close by!

The “rooftop resturaunt” was a joke. Person spoke zero English to communicate and I wouldt eat there anyway.

While none of these issues in isolation would be a reason not to stay, alltogethet it was too much. We moved hotels and it was like a 180. Totally different experience. Not even for money saving would I stay at this place, way too...

I got more information, knowledge as i couldn't imagine while i was here in Cairo. i got some Holiday previously in my Life but this one was the best!!
