Turquoise Pyramids Gate — Hotel in Giza

The place is quite decent for the price! The rooms are ok, especially for the general standard in Egypt. The greatest issue is that our room was very cold (as it was the end of December). There was an AC in the room showing 28 degrees, but that was definitely not true and the heating mode did not work. Therefore, taking a bath was a challenge. The hygiene of the bathroom could be somewhat improved as well (but it was not awful). The towels we got were a bit small, but sufficient for the two nights we spent there. There is an amazing view from their rooftop café/restaurant as you can see the pyramids. The staff is friendly and helpful! They cleaned the hallways every day, provided me with a hairdryer when I asked for it, and were at disposal for everything we needed. The location is great for people looking to visit the pyramids. However, visiting Cairo itself was a bigger challenge at some points. Finding a Careem (which is the most affordable option) was not always easy and you need a lot of patience. The hotel is convenient and located near the pyramid like 5 mins drive away. But it is located right by a SUPER NOISY and busy street that car horn was continuously ringing non stop which is VERY disturbing for sleep.

The room was clean and the breakfast was fine. The highlight of the hotel is you can have pyramid view on the rooftop.

The staff was not that helpful at all. I got issue with water heater in my room. I walked and talked to the reception more than 3 times, a technician came twice. But after waiting for almost an hour, the problem still couldnt be fixed! I was just told to be patient and keep waiting! It feels horrible to take a COLD SHOWER during winter with only 7 degrees at night!

Eventually, I found my bracelet at the sink in the bathroom was lost the next day after the staffs came to check the water heater. I do suspect it was STOLEN by one of the staffs.

My stay at Turquoise pyramids gate hotel was absolutely delightful! One of the highlights of my visit was the incredibly friendly staff. From the moment I checked in, they made me feel right at home. Every interaction was warm, genuine, and thoughtful.
