Please be aware of this SCAMMERS. We supposed to spend 7 days, but we spent just 3 nights, our staying was like this:
First day: Said (the only helpful person) received us. We ask for help to buy cheap clothes to wear in Egypt ( to not be disrespectful with the religion) the two girl on the front desk ( Molo, with glasses and another girl) offer us to bring us to nice/cheap shops. We follow her advice ( thinking they were really helping us) but they brought us to 2 only places. She said to us that we’re the cheapest places on the area. We trust her, paying 4400 egypt pound per 3 clothes, later on we check prices in another place and all of them cost 500ep. Well, apart of that, Molo said she could help me with a cheap SIM card, for just 20usd/20gigas. 4 days later I knew the card didn’t have more than 2gb and the price in Orange company is 290pounds per 10gb.
Night time: first night were plants of rats, we couldn’t sleep at all. The room didn’t have window to the mountain as it said, just a tiny windy of 50cm x 50cm facing the wall of the building on the side. The shower was flooded every time we took a shower, using all towels to clean.
2nd day: Said receive our complain about the rats, and just after the second night they change us.
3rd day: they change us to a “better room”. This one looked good at first, but after the first night in the room, rats poop was found beside our toothbrush.
In that moment we booked another hostel in Cairo and moved from there.
Once doing the check out, the explain in a good way the horrible time we spent there, and the same woman that brought us to buy “cheap clothes” cancel the Booking and told us to not say nothing to Booking.com. I didn’t accept that, I wrote to booking after that, but we haven’t receive answer for them to write on the booking option our experience, because she cancelled, so no other GUEST like us can know the problem in this HOTEL.
By the way, this hotel in google has the same name, in the same street, in front of this, so I guess they just change location under the same name.

Read moreI stayed at Locanda Pyramide hôtel for 10 days with my sister, who came to Cairo for cosmetic surgery, and I must say our experience was absolutely outstanding from start to finish.
My sister chose this hotel for her recovery, and we couldn’t have found a better place. They took care of her like a baby, day and night, with incredible kindness, patience, and attention. They were always there, making sure she was comfortable and had everything she needed — it truly meant a lot to me.
As for myself, the staff was always available to help with anything I needed, whether it was finding the best restaurants nearby or assisting with daily needs. They were consistently attentive, caring, and responsive, no matter the time of day.
A big plus: there’s a pharmacy right at the foot of the hotel, open 24/7, along with small shops open around the clock, which was extremely convenient during our stay.
I want to sincerely thank the entire team for their professionalism, warmth, and amazing responsiveness. I 100% recommend this hotel and its wonderful staff, whether you’re visiting for tourism or medical purposes. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for everything you’ve done for us. After arriving later than expected as the flight got delayed, We were asked to settle the fee in usd cash and the taxi fee with return pre booked. We were taken to another hotel/ building across the road and advised that the booking will be cancelled so they do not pay taxes. They will tell you that they wont scam you as the key to the room is given to you as booked. You arent left with much choice if you arrive late and have no plan b. The taxi fare is inflated as uber is way cheaper, easy to use and reliable. You will be told uber isnt the right choice by hotel staff so they can charge you more. The room leaves much to be desired as it is not like the photos at all at least in the new wing. We needed breakfast boxes on the days we stayed there. These are literally bread baskets with croissants and buns prepared the night before. Staff is responsive on whats app before your stay and rarely available during your stay unless you need to pay. |Bathroom is very suffocating, with faulty drain system. |The bed has ants on the bedding. |Window apertures are not sound proof so get earplugs as the road is busy. |Cleanliness is not great. |Location wise its very centralised and surrounded with bakery, pharmacy, and plenty of cafes and...
