Margot Old Tbilisi — Hotel in Tbilisi

The positive things about this hotel are the nice lobby/interiors and the restaurant overlooking the river. My room had a river view as well, which was a plus. However, the rooms themselves are tiny and feel cramped — definitely not spacious, which was disappointing. The bathrooms are also very small. If you use the regular showerhead, water overflows even with the curtain closed. The rain showerhead works better but doesn’t fully solve the problem. Breakfast isn’t worth it. It costs extra and offers limited variety, both in food and drinks (especially coffee). Overall, I’d say the breakfast is subpar. You’re better off having breakfast elsewhere. Service was average. I arrived at 6:30 am after a long trip with no sleep, and even though I had informed the hotel in advance and they said they’d try to accommodate early check-in, they didn’t — even after I offered to pay for a half-day. Yet, my friend managed to check in at 12 pm. I understand that sometimes rooms aren’t available due to late check-outs, but I think the hotel should make more effort to accommodate early arrivals, especially those coming off...

Margot Old Tbilisi Room 302 Arrival and check in was easy and seamless. We arrived at 6am and we're greeted warmly. Awesome staff. Our room was comfortable but a little hot. But we learned how to adjust temps with help from hotel. Bed and linens very comfortable. View is awesome. The cormorants and egrets lined the trees along the Kura River. Bathroom well appointed. Please bring your electric converter  and adapter. Hotel has a few but please bring your own. Breakfast is very good. Fresh fruit, yogurt, cold cereal and several toppings for both. Several types of eggs. Bread. Meats and breads. Cheeses. A chicken and rice dish. Coffee, milk and several fruit juices. All very good. Evening meal was also a good experience. Great wait staff. Good local cuisine and basic usa choices. Prices are very comparable for the quality of the meal. We were staying here as our son was having his wedding at The Margot and reception. The hotel and staff did a marvelous job helping our son and new daughter  in law...

I had a desire to write a wonderful review for your hotel and restaurant thanks to a wonderful, super-professional and kind worker Paata ! Such wonderful, welcoming service and nice attitude is something I have met rarely in my life in Tbilisi/ Europe or Ukraine. Me and my friends were very happy and satisfied with his pleasant and welcoming service, attention to details, such professionalism! I would definitely recommend your place further to my friends who visit Tbilisi next time. Thanks again, Paata, for such welcoming and professional service, thanks to such people/workers one makes a very good opinion of a place he visits. If previously I have visited Radisson restaurants and have met there unfortunately very unpleasant human service recently, I have totally made my favourites this restaurant from now on! I hope management of hotel&restaurant takes into account my review and opinion and values such workers as Paata , he is one of people who forms customer opinion and loyalty...
