I recently had the most wonderful stay at Martha’s DeLight Rooms and wanted to share my experience with you. ||Firstly the apartments are in an excellent location: situated on a quiet street just a couple of minutes walk from the harbour and a plethora of shops, bars, and restaurants. Chania is very compact, very beautiful, and very walkable. ||I arrived in Chania after getting the bus from the airport which cost just €2.50 each way, and takes around half an hour. From the bus station it took me 12 minutes to walk to the apartments.||I stayed in the Klima Studio - which was compact, but more than adequate for one person. If you’re a couple, this studio is perfect for one or two nights (if you travel light) but it’s probably not suitable for a longer stay, especially if you both have big suitcases - in which case I would recommend that you book one of their bigger studios which are more spacious. ||Also please be aware that to access the Klima Studio you do have to walk up some stairs. If you have mobility issues I would suggest that you book the studios on the lower floor instead, which you access via a gentle slope.||There’s no wardrobe in the Klima Studio, but there is a clothes rack attached to the wall and hangers are provided - which was perfect for my stay.||The bathroom is small but functional. The shower is amazing with excellent water pressure and constant hot water. Combination shampoo/shower gel is also provided. In fact I loved the products so much that I hunted them down in Chania so I could bring some home to remind me of my wonderful holiday!||The studio is super clean, and the bed was also clean and comfortable - I slept incredibly well.||In the studio there is a mini fridge, coffee machine, kettle, and a selection of crockery and cutlery available for use. There is also a television, as well as a hairdryer. The air conditioning was superb, and a welcome relief after a day out in the sun. ||WiFi is also available. Initially I couldn’t connect, but I messaged Martha, and she responded straight away to resolve the issue. ||At which point I would like to say what a wonderfully generous host and human being Martha is - any time I sent her a message she would respond within minutes, and always with kindness. I cannot empathise enough how much her compassion and empathy resonated with me. Thank you so much Martha, it was such a pleasure to meet you and your lovely family.||In a nutshell I would absolutely stay here again, and I will recommend these apartments to my friends and family if ever they are visiting Chania. ||Also I booked directly via their website for the best prices, rather than via a third party...

Read moreA Gem in the Heart of Chania
I recently stayed at a beautiful apartment in the center of Chania, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. The location was perfect, offering easy access to everything the city has to offer, while still providing a peaceful and cozy retreat.
What truly made the stay exceptional, though, was the warmth and hospitality of the host. She went above and beyond to make me feel at home, and her genuine care and attention to detail were evident in every aspect of the accommodation.
The apartment itself was beautifully designed, spotlessly clean, and equipped with everything I needed for a comfortable stay. It had a charm that perfectly complemented the vibe of Chania, making it a place I will remember fondly.
Honestly, I would return to Chania just to stay at this apartment again. It wasn’t just a place to sleep—it was an experience in itself, and I can’t recommend it highly enough. Thank you for making my...
