Puri Asri Bungalow — Hotel in Pulau Bali

When I arrived I was just amazed how beautiful this bungalow is.||The carvings of the door, the furniture on the terrace and in the room and the open shower impressed me deeply. It´s comfortable and functional.||But no AC and a lot of mosquitos, what makes it difficult to sleep.||The family is very friendly and helpful, but are always around.||The kitchen and common place of the family is right next to the bungalow, and you hear everything.||I moved after 5 days into another room in the building a bit further from the preparation-kitchen room. I had AC and finally could sleep, because it was more quiet. Still beautiful furniture, carved door and terrace furniture.||And all located central on Jalan Hanoman, it is perfect to get everywhere easily.||Breakfast with fresh papaya, pineapple, banana and an egg toast and tee or coffee is served on your own terrace, makes it nice to...

The only good thing about Puri Asri Bungalows is the location. Central and in short walking distance to cool shops and Restaurants. |The Puri Asri Bungalows itself was so disappointing! |1. We didn't get in the room we pre-booked. Apparently there are two representative rooms (#101 + #102). They are in a fancy Balinese style. One of those rooms we booked. Instead we were put in room #103 which was shabby, dirty and had a smelly bathroom. According to previous comments on booking platforms this seems to be a common practise. And I doubt that we had fresh linen or pillowcases. |2. Someone had been to our room for no reason. Centrally located alongside the Hanoman Street. As it has been renovated, the room I stayed was spacious, clean and comes with a terrace (although facing the nice grey wall of another room). After talking to the staff, I moved to the room upstairs that was a bit smaller but more airy and well lit by sunlight (paying RP 50000 extra) . ||||The owner of the guest house came to me and ask if I could move to another bungalow that was obviously older but I can have it all to myself.
