The room is small, as expected, as an ordinary room in Japan (I downgraded to the smallest room which is 2 m2 smaller because I want to stay in the same room for 2 nights booked via SMGLOBAL). The location is tricky because it is in the middle of 2 metro stations, which is too much walking with heavy luggage both ways. What really upsets me is the lack of competence of the concierge staff in understanding the problem of the washing machine I met one night. The drying phase went completely wrong, which basically kept drying unstoppable. Told the nighttime concierge staff. Not too pleasant yet acceptable for him to pull out a translator to understand English. But he told me to wait for another 40 mins (which is shown exactly the same on the washing machine 40 mins ago) in the middle of the night because he couldn't switch off the machine. To me, he didn't take this seriously until I told him I would ask for compensation if there were damages to my clothes. And then in 15 minutes, he turned off the machine manually. Boom! Of course, my clothes are damaged and shrank after being dried so long. I did get the full compensation as a DISCLAIMER. But I wish I wouldn't have to throw myself in this...
Read moreMy experience at Shizutetsu Hotel Prezio Osaka-Shinsaibashi was outstanding from start to finish. The hotel is ideally located just steps from Shinsaibashi shopping street and within walking distance of Dotonbori, yet it feels calm and relaxing inside—like a peaceful hideaway in the city.
The room was modern, immaculate, and thoughtfully designed comfortable bed, spacious bathroom, and convenient amenities like an humidifier and airconditioning made it feel like a true home away from home.
A small but much-appreciated touch was the free daily coffee and tea available in the lobby. It made every morning feel a little warmer and more welcoming—such a nice gesture!
The staff were wonderful, polite, professional, and always willing to help with a smile. Their hospitality really stood out and made my stay extra memorable.
I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again and wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Osaka. It’s...
Read moreOur stay at Shizutetsu Hotel Prezio was fantastic. The staff were super friendly and helped us with check in/out, they helped us print our tickets for attractions, and we were able to borrow travel adapters as part of the amenities. The hotel also offers an amazing breakfast (try the fried pork cutlets and okonomiyaki which Osaka is known for!). The rooms were well stocked and had a large bathroom (by Japan standards) with a walk in 'wet room' including a shower and bath. We booked a larger bed which was perfect for my partner who is 186cm tall. NOTE: The rooms are small by Western standards, but this is normal for Japan. The beds were also on the firmer side but still really comfortable. The location is super central between two metro stations within walking distance. It was very easy to get to all the attractions and to do day trips to Kyoto. I would happily stay here again and would recommend this hotel to anyone...
