We very much enjoyed our dining experience at this restaurant. The space is modern with a calm and relaxed atmosphere that made it enjoyable to just sit and quietly converse. The tofu focus is appreciated as I love all things tofu. Even my meat eating family enjoyed the lighter fare.
The tofu lunch set was satisfying. We did not leave hungry. The different textures and cooking of tofu gave a good variety of different tastes. We noticed that some diners ordered katsu that seemed like a good combination with the tofu but we weren't able to get clarification on the menu from the servers due to language barrier. We ended up getting the all tofu set. We didn't finish all the tofu in our lunch, however. The similar soft texture of tofu in multiple items of the set made it a bit boring the more we ate. The tofu flavor wasn't very prominent in some of the dishes. However, the overall concept and dining experience were well delivered.
We also had the tofu desserts, the cheesecake and gelato. The tofu taste was mild and subtle in the desserts but the sweetness after the meal was a good finish. Overall, we enjoyed the lunch and had a great...

Old post: Whether you eat meat, fish, or neither, come try this place. This place specializes in tofu dishes but also serves other meat and fish dishes.
When arriving at this place, you'll have to enter and walk down the steps. You'll be greeted by a staff member who will ask you to take off your shoes before leading you to your seat.
I got the crab Croquette (1200 yen) and my friend got the weekly lunch (1000 yen) which was seared salmon with some ponzu like sauce. Each meal comes with tofu, soup, and rice.
All I can say is wow! This place is designed in a way that helped me feel so calm and relaxed. The food was light but made me so full. I also appreciated how there is an English menu and some of the staff members spoke some English too.
Don't skip dessert, we got the tofu tiramisu and it was delicious! This place...
Read moreReally disappointed came in hope of vegetarian or vegan food which is difficult to find in many places. I came based on reviews, thought it would be fine. Sadly not, because whilst many appetizers appeared Veggie friendly NOT one main dish that was in any way vegetarian, plus even after we told them I didn't NOT eat fish or meat when one of the appetizers appeared clearly had fish sauce on the bottom (Avocado Tofu) and Tofu skins was also served with a dip that had fish in until we checked at which point veggie soy sauce was produced. Like wise we asked for vegetarian tempura which they did make but again the dame serever brought it with fish based dipping sauce and tried to tell me it was fine until I asked them check then suddenly was removed because oh yes has fish and not replaced with anything. Polished off with tea served in a cracked cup. I would NOT recommend this for vegetarian or vegan dining because it isn't even if you tell them clearly that you don't eat it they bring fish...
