So there seems to be more than one type of stays available at this property. Hence the conflicting reviews. One is basically the hotel and others are some floors that are run as AirBnBs sort of rent outs. Our room was on the 8th floor and privately managed. Not by the hotel I believe. The ground floor staff is fair behaved but they seem disinterested in you as soon they realize you’re staying at the rented room. They still did assist us but didn’t seem like they were happy doing it. Our room had a view straight into a garbage dump right across the street. You need to carry 2 key cards with you. One for the room and one for the elevator, unlike just one usually. If you’re staying at the rented place and not the hotel, it’ll be a nightmare if you lose your key or lock it inside the room as the hotel management will not give you a spare one. Closest laundry services outside the hotel at about 5-7 minute walk, with self service only. The room itself had a restroom and shower in repeated cubicles and the wash basin right in the center of the room which was very odd. Water pressure good and temperature also great. MRT and eateries close by. Centrally located. For the price, it was fine. My particular room did not have the cockroach problem that others are mentioning and it felt clean. The pool is excellent with a great view. Looks like infinity pool. Great for shots with the towers in the background. But it closes at 9PM which is disappointing and costing a star in my opinion. Breakfast open till 12 at rooftop. Around 50 ringgit including add-ons. Economical for the size.

Fairly good place to stay. Stayed for 28 nights mid Mar- early April 2023. Pros - clean cozy nice hotel like room, a lil cramped for 2 if staying more than a week. About 5mins walk to the PUDU light rail station, 10mins walk to nice new LalaPort mall or Berjaya Times Square mall (and a further 10 mins to Pavillion mall in the heart of Bukit Bintang). LOTS of local eateries (good/cheap, mostly no air con) within 5mins walk around D'Majestic, including the famous ICC mall with about +75 hawkers food stalls. Cons - the free WIFI is unsecure/no password & even with my iPad Pro and iPhone 12 updated to the latest iOS, I'm unable stay on the WIFI for more than 15 mins per day, it drops and just continuously tries to reconnect to no avail (this was the case for my 28 days stay). The security card for the elevator (so you can only go to your floor) doesn't work - I simply pressed the button in any of the 4 elevators and was able to go to the 9th or other floors without ever swiping the elevator security key. No microwave, seriously a bummer if you're staying more than a week. The bed pillows are pretty worn/thin and not very comfortable, hope they will put in new pillows for guests. No laundry machine/facility in the room or in the building. You can walk 5-10mins to 2 nearby coin operated laundromats. The rooftop gym has a great view but unfortunately there is NO air conditioning and it gets +85F before 10AM even in winter months. Additionally, smokers gather to smoke on the small deck space next to the gym so of course you’re breathing cigarette smoke while exercising.

This hotel is very strange. 1. After 3:00 p.m., no one will assist you to check in, you need to add their Whatsapp, and then check in by yourself. 2. You must check out before 11:00 am. 3. I live on the 6th floor, people knock on the door many times (at night and in the morning), it is very noisy and annoying. 4. There is no drinking water and no toothbrush in the room. And it was not cleaned at all. 5.If you are a foreigner, make sure to bring your own socket, because there is no place in the room that can be charged with a foreign socket!

Horrible place to stay. We made a booking by using booking.com, we wrote a review after the stay, I don't think they've approved of it to be published to the public to see.

Please do not book your stay here. It was 200++ for 2 nights, was charged for a cleaning fee of 40 if not mistaken. But the room was filled with cockroaches! When we first checked in, everything was OK except for the aircond which was not cooling at all. Later then at night, we noticed there were little bugs laying around the room then when we bend down to look, we got shocked because it wasn't insects but cockroaches! I have pictures and videos of proofs which was attached to the review I gave on booking.com.

Super unhygienic, we wanted s refund we weren't given one until the next day when we argued with the person at the lobby which we had to wait for him for so long to come and serve us. Same thing happened to when we wanted to check in and check out, there is no one at the lobby to entertain you and your enquiries.

With this price you pay, you can definitely get a better place to stay. We are not expecting this stay to be high-end but we only expected it to be clean and hygienic which is not provided to guests.

Definitely not cominh back anymore and wouldn't recommend anyone...
