I recently had the pleasure of staying at a stunning apartment on the 41st floor of the Infinitum building in Kuala Lumpur. The panoramic views were breathtaking, offering a mesmerizing sight of the mountains and a partial view of one of the iconic Petronas Towers. I have been staying at the Colony by infinitum since 2022. And I have always had good things to say about it, until today.

Today, while in the pool with my husband the guard on duty spoke to my husband about my "inappropriate" dress. The same swim dress I have been wearing for years at this establishment.

There are clear signs saying what is and is not appropriate to wear and my swim dress fit the bill with no issue.

I am not comfortable wearing one piece swim suits or bikinis as they are revealing. Therefore I bought a dress, specifically made for swimming. Made from the same material as a swim suit. It is 100% swimming pool safe. I thought Malaysia of all places would be inclusive of me wearing something more conservative...but no. The guard singled me out and refused to listen to me when I said it WAS a swim dress.

Tonight will be the last night I ever stay here. I am incredibly upset by...
