The interior is kinda average, feels like eating at someone's house but do not be fooled by the appearance.

We ordered the regular Shawarma, Nasi Mandi Ayam, and Hummus.

As for Shawarma, it does taste abit bland but it's just my personal preference because I'm more used to the Mr.Shawarma's heavier flavour. Dip it with the Greek yogurt and a reddish sauce which resembles salsa sauce (not sure what it is) does enrich the overall flavour.

It's our first time to try Nasi Mandi Ayam and it tastes just like Nasi Briyani? Loose rice means perfectly cooked rice, slight buttery with loads of spices like black pepper, cardamom, clove, probably more. The chicken meat just fell off from the bones easily. It's my favourite so far.

Hummus also taste quite bland (I got spoiled by those heavy flavoured Nandos hummus) for me but it has a strong unique flavour which I guess very likely it's tahini sauce. It comes with two slices of bread which I felt too doughy but I think it's just how Arabic bread is, I could be wrong. The hummus and the bread alone can be very full on stomach.

Overall, if you are looking for super affordable and guilt-free Arabic food. This is the best place for it. They do have MAE so you can pay with TNG ewallet or MAE app. Definitely will...

It is a very small shop located behind Quill City Mall. Recommended to park your car at the mall's parking lot Exited at North Entrance as the shop was just a walking distance from the entrance.

If you plan to dine-in, this cafe has very limited seats. You can also seat at nearby kedai makan as long as you order drinks.

We ordered Mandy Rice Half Chicken + Chicken Shawarma Sandwich Large. The rice itself was bland but when mixed with everything, tasted good 🤩 As for shawarma, I didn't quite like it as it has chilli sauce 😭😭😭 Please don't Malaysia-nized shawarma as I preferred the authentic taste of shawarma. Putting chilli sauce in shawarma is a BIG no no 🙅‍♀️😭

All-in-all, Al-Habib Restaurant is a good place to try Middle East cuisines. The portion was generous + the price was affordable (May Allah bless these sellers for their generosity 🤲) . It also offered QR code for cashless payment. Again, please don't Malaysia-nized the dishes. Keep it...

Very kind owner who makes amazingly flavourful Shawarma and always gives extra 😁 if you ask nicely. The taste of the spices infused in the chicken shawarma is very obvious as the chicken is marinated overnight. I'm told it's marinated with a variety of spices both local and authentic Syrian and Arabic spices. The Cumin taste is apparent for me. This place is one of the few places in KL where you don't need any extra sauces or condiments as the chicken's flavour is delicious on its own. So to avoid masking it's flavour, no sauses or condiments well for me anyway. Thank you Chef I'll see you...

Best of the best, very delicious Mandi chicken and Kabsa chicken, the chicken is very crispy on the skin and juicy on the meat, definitely fresh chicken on first bite. The separated packed chilis are really kick, add whole new level to the experience. To fully enjoy Arab rice, you must add spoonful of the soup to the rice, I just banjir it, does not as dry as other people claims. Just need to know the right method to enjoy it. Highly recommended.
