The Robertson Bukit Bintang — Hotel in Kuala Lumpur

Severe black mold and cockroach infestation throughout building.

Within 4 hours of checking in I discovered:

Multiple cockroaches in kitchen, bathroom, and living areas

Extensive black mold in bathroom (health hazard)

Small insects throughout the unit

Management offered an alternative unit as replacement. A cockroach was visible within minutes.

This indicates building-wide infestation, not an isolated incident. Two units, 10 floors apart, both had visible roaches upon inspection.

Had to evacuate for health and safety reasons. Management refused refund, telling me to take it up with Booking.com. Property later falsely claimed I "never checked in" despite having WhatsApp messages with them discussing room changes and photos from inside multiple units.

The building appears to have a systemic pest problem. I would strongly advise checking any unit thoroughly before accepting it, though based on my experience, the infestation seems building-wide.

Abbiamo soggiornato in questo residence in un appartamento preso su Airbnb (host Teressa) nella torre Sud e al 41 piano. L'appartamento era perfetto e pulito. Unica nota che non mi fa dare 5 è l'odore di umido e, a volte, l'odore proveniente dallo scarico della doccia. La vista era superlativa sulla torre Merdeka. La piscina al sesto piano era molto bella sebbene fredda, come tutte le piscine di KL! Il giardino all'ultimo piano è fantastico e dona un vista panoramica che spazia dalle Petronas alla Merdeka Tower.
