HORRIBLE. I made reservations over a MONTH before our trip to Cabo. I received a confirmation with a confirmation number for our date and time - Thursday, July 6, 2023 table for 4 adults at 6:30 PM. I even received a “reminder” text the day BEFOREHAND asking us to reconfirm that we were coming to which I responded YES we would be there. When we arrived at the location and as we’re exiting our taxi we were asked by the doorman if we were there for “the wedding.” We said no, we have reservations for drinks and dinner. You can NOT imagine our shock when he said, sorry we’re closed for a private event, there’s a wedding and you can not go up. Magical things happen in Cabo but I refuse to believe that a wedding was scheduled between the time we made our reservations, received our reminder and our arrival at the restaurant. That’s some Impossible magic. So there we were dressed for an anticipated evening at Rooftop 360 being told sorry, you can’t go up. We were not only disappointed but angry. Weddings are planned way in advance, why were we allowed to book a reservation if the restaurant was hosting a private wedding and would be CLOSED to the public? When my husband attempted to call the restaurant from the lobby the person on the other end basically said too bad so sad and hung up! RUDE on top of it all! If I could give less than 1 star I would. Ridiculous and highly unprofessional. Apparently advanced reservations mean absolutely nothing to this place. Needless to say Rooftop 360 is off our list - I can’t imagine what the service inside is like if this is how you’re treated AT THE DOOR. Less than one star and a never to...
Read moreI had the worst dining experience of my life lastnight for my friends 30th birthday at roof top 360.
We were seated. Order taken. Then completely forgot about. We didn’t have anyone check on us, we were completely left to fend for ourselves.
Keep in mind it was completely dead.
When a waiter finally did come over to provide a cheque, after we weren’t even DONE our meals. It was shoved in our face. We looked and the bill wasn’t ours, he left.
We got up and asked for our bill from two separate random attendances. Then the same waiter (not originally ours) brought us our bill.
He asked to put 30% on the bill. (Which why are waiters requesting this and pressuring people in the first place)? I said absolutely not as we received no service.
The waiter’s demeanor instantly changed, became angry, ripped my credit card out of my hands. I requested to see the amount punched in and he showed the amount minus a tip.
From there he was having issues ripping off the receipt. He angerly stormed away without providing a receipt or saying goodbye. Keep in mind THIS WASNT OUR WAITER. He literally provided the wrong bill to us and took our dirty plates. That is IT.
We left feeling embarrassed, neglected and wronged.
My friend cried for her 30th BIRTHDAY.
I spend $1450.00 on her birthday dinner. As a patron I would NEVER recommend rooftop 360.
No apologies. No refunds. No...
Read moreWe purposely stayed off the strip to avoid touristy areas but wanted a beautiful view of the city. This place is IT! Wow! I can see why people wanna book weddings here! It's a huge space up here. Beautifully decorated, really nice bar, lots of seating, stand up heaters, they offer nice blankets if you're cold (gets super windy!), really nice bathrooms. It's at the rooftop of a hotel, and if you're not a guest there, you can use the infinity pool for $50/day (US dollars).
We made reservations but didn't need them, went at 8pm for dinner and drinks, wasn't busy at all. They had a DJ (American music). They do have a dance area but no one danced there while we were there. All the staff were very nice and attentive, they seemed to work very well as a team.
Reviews say it's overpriced but honestly, considering what we got, wasn't too bad (4 drinks, a sushi roll, 3 tacos, guacamole for $125 US dollars, plus tip). I mean any US traveler should expect US prices for anything off the main strip. It's VERY touristy here and they depend on tourists for income.
Overall, very, very glad we came here!
Tip: if you have long hair, bring a hair tie if you plan to eat (luckily I had one), was super windy at first and would've been hard to eat and deal with my hair at the...
