Hotel Bihani — Hotel in Kathmandu Metropolitan City

We are writing our review in tripadvisor because the hotel cancelled our reservation in booking in order to not allow us to write a bad review.||||The first room they gave us was with single beds and with very dirty sheets. We asked for another room with double bed and they said the next day they would give us a double bed room. So we asked for new sheets and the new ones were dirty as the other ones.||The day after they changed our room but again with a to a single beds one. The sheets were dirty here as well. I woke up at 2am during the second night full of punctures and we found BED BUGS on the two beds. we contacted booking to cancel the following night we have reserved in that hotel and booking cancelled it. We checked out at 5am asking for not paying the second night because of the bed bugs but first they wanted us to pay the cancelled night too and then they didn’t accept to not paying the second night spent with bed bugs. ||Finally they cancelled our reservation in order to do not let us writing a bad review...

Great hotel in the heart of Thamel. 10/10 for location. This hotel is in the centre of Thamel, the part of Kathmandu where the traffic if prohibited. So you can drunkenly walk back to the hotel at night and not get run over. We stayed in Kathmandu for a couple nights at the beginning and end of trip. At the beginning we stayed in a hotel outside the zone that traffic is prohibited and the experience is a lot of fun, and the restaurants and shops are cheaper. However, at the end of the trip we wanted a more peaceful stay, with less traffic and constant car horns. Also, the surrounding area of this hotel is full of shops and higher end restaurants, so we wanted to treat ourselves. Worst experience at Hotel Bihani. We booked 3 rooms for five people at 3 am. The reception guy and the security guard asked us to pay full amount BEFORE checking in but we only paid 25% of that amount. They gave us the keys, but we found out one room was dirty and already used. The receptionist was rude, told us about unavailability of another room and when we told them about leaving the hotel, he accused my friends of “using” the bedsheets just seconds after check-in. Then we asked for a refund, they tried to keep 25%, but only returned it after we recorded them from our phone.
