Marquês Best Apartments — Hotel in Lisbon

Before I even arrived I felt like I was their #1 guest for the week. Every single touchpoint was a positive experience. There was zero lag in communications. Every outreach for questions or help was immediately responded to via email and/or whatsapp, sometimes even by more than one person. ||The place is IMMACULATE. Beautiful marble bathroom. Simple, but high-end kitchen. Perfect little touches such as a complementary fruit basket. Other wonderful features: a towel warmer, super comfortable bed, free use of a mobile modem so I didn't have to turn on international roaming, nice big bath towels, 2 bathrooms (!), easy digital key to enter, beautiful modern design, multiple shower sprays, big supermarket around the corner, superb uptown location minutes away to downtown by subway. (I always did the refreshing 30 minute walk.)||Downsides? Hardly any. I couldn't figure out the temperature control and light switches, but Ben walked me through both, and they turned out to be stupid easy. The kitchen could use a hand towel. The shower was divine, but for women, it would be nice to have a seat in the shower for shaving.||I guess my biggest beef was the TV right at eye level in the bathroom. Jarring. If you're tall, the TV-in-the-mirror is at neck level so you're able to see yourself in the mirror without moving to the side. The towel rack also is more for tall people. ||Such trivialities! ecommended ||My husband and I just returned from Lisbon after staying at Marques Best Apartments for almost two months. WOW what an amazing time we had there! The apartment has everything we could need. We felt we were home. | | Everything works and is very well maintained, clean and brand new. There are heated floors in the entire apartment, bringing unique comfort, a towel warmer, super comfortable bed, 2 beautiful marble bathrooms , simple, but high-end kitchen, easy digital key to enter the building and the apartment, multiple shower sprays… The apartment is ideally located in Lisbon within easy distance of all the major tourist attractions. It is also conveniently located next to supermarkets,restaurants and close to the nearest metro station.||Alexandre Vasco and his team were excellent and very welcoming, informative and accommodating. Beautiful apartment centrally located, well furnished and clean upon arrival. Complimentary fruit and water were a lovely touch. Pool was a lovely addition to the apartment Due to our flight being scheduled to land after 8pm we missed the check in time, which led us to have to ring a few people to get the code for the door. We would have preferred to be messaged the code prior to arrival. . On the first night of arrival we met the manager who gave us some information about local restaurants, he also gave us his number and told him we could text during our week if we needed anything.

I texted him twice during the week , once about the air conditioning not working which no real help was given and another about umbrellas for the pool which didn’t get a reply until checking out.

On the 2nd night of our stay, someone/something had urinated on the front door of the apartment block, which led to a smell around the elevator as it hadn’t been cleaned all week.

Other than that everything was what we expected and more. The microwave/oven was great, dishwasher and washing machine provided. And the house keeping service was excellent. Shower was nice and the big flat screen smart TVs...
