Ben's House — Hotel in Talat Yot Subdistrict

Very quaint couple and small lofted suite. The Ben's are very nice and they have many loving previous customers, as they hand out drinks and fruit whenever they see you. As soon as we agreed to stay, Mr. Ben whipped out a map for us and showed us all the tourist spots and how to get there from the house.

Upsides: -Helpful couple who are eager to help you enjoy your stay in Bangkok -Safe environment, as you have a key for your room and also a key for the main gate in the street, so strangers can't get in. -The sheets are clean and the place can be cleaned each day, if you want.

Downsides: -Khaosan Road is on the next street, and the ridiculously loud music doesn't stop until 1:30 am. This guesthouse is ideal for those who will stay out partying and won't mind the noise. -The water pressure in the shower was too weak in our unit. -The sheets are clean, but the towels are...

Since they renovated and the entrance is merged with the restaurant, the situation is quite unpleasant. The smell of the entrance to the guesthouse is simply horrendous. The water pressure in the shower is non existant. The location is great though, as long as you're here to party until 2 am - don't expect to sleep before the street...

Very lovely hostel with a nice host. This was the first stay at our Thailand trip and you'll find all you need! You even have two floors in your room of which the upper one is your sleeping area. You can smoke and drink beer right infront of your door which made the stay there very relaxing. ...
