Read moreHaving seen rave reviews about this place, and pictures on social media, I was really excited to stay in this place. Given it's rates are pretty expensive and a lot of the reviews said how it was family-owed, I was expecting a 10/10 stay.||However, was surprised by the lack of hospitality here. Check in was met with a lack of a warm reception and general lethargy, almost felt like we were in the wrong place. Our suitcases ended up being carried by 2 ladies who seemed to be struggling to carry it which of course made us feel a bit awkward. Also seemed they did no||Booked a room that came with a photographer but the photographer was not responsive at all despite multiple reach outs before the day they were meant to come. This was made even more annoying because we could see photographer lounging in reception not doing anything, we had to go up in photographer in person before we were told more information of how photo would take place. From responses, it seemed like photographers that are used to dealing with influencers and bigger name clients, so they do not treat regular customers with same level of care.||Breakfast was decent, not amazing but not awful either. Lovely lady in kitchen served some warm foods to guess, though eating outside would be a struggle if you're not a fan of cats||All of that being said, the cave rooms and terraces were amazing, some say it's the highest terrace in Goreme and it really seems so, it was an incredible view and morning watching the balloons take-off from the terrace. Does that view alone make it worth it? Maybe but for the prices, I would imagine there are other places which would offer similar views with...
Read moreAfter doing lots of research on where to stay in Cappadocia I thought that this was the best place. My boyfriend and I had been separated for 5 months because of the virus and were planning to meet here to have a romantic get away. We booked the king suit room way in advance and 2 days before we were supposed to get there my boyfriend got an email saying that our reservation had been canceled. We called the hotel right away and they lied to us and said that someone called with our reservation number and canceled the room, which was not possible because it was not me or my boyfriend. They almost left us with no place to stay and we were scrambling last minute to find a decent hotel. Sadly we went on the Koza Cave instagram just to see that a famous soccer player and his instagram girlfriend were staying in the king suit that we booked. There is only one king suit which is the room that is a dome suit cave as shown on their website. Both the soccer player and his girlfriend were posting on their instagrams that same exact room that we were supposed to be in. The hotel clearly only cared about advertisement and having a famous person stay there and did not care about us. The worst part was being lied to they should have been honest and said they gave the room to someone else. We were both totally extremely disappointed in this hotel behavior and unprofessionalism. This is the worst hotel experience I have ever had and we never even made it to the hotel! I wouldn't risk booking a room here because if a famous person comes along you will be lied to and kicked out of your room...
