I first saw Sacred Mansion on social media and knew there was no other place like it in Cappadocia. Even before I got my visa, I booked my stay. Since my booking was non-refundable, I was worried when my visa was delayed. Sacred Mansion understood my situation and kindly agreed to refund me.||Mr. Unal was the person who handled everything. From the beginning, he was professional, kind, and trustworthy. He put in so much effort to help me with the refund, and once I finally got my visa, I rebooked the hotel without any doubt.||When checking in, I met him in person and he even surprised us with a room upgrade that was three times higher than what we booked. It was my husband’s birthday trip, and thanks to Unal, it became even more special. He truly is the heart of this house 🫡||The whole team at Sacred Mansion was amazing. Everyone from reception to the restaurant, spa, and housekeeping was so friendly and helpful. Anytime I needed something, a simple WhatsApp message was enough and they responded immediately. ||They also arranged a complimentary birthday cake for my husband within hours, which was such a thoughtful gesture.||I highly recommend trying the restaurant—the food was traditional, delicious, and the view made it magical. ||Booking activities like the hot air balloon, horse riding, or even photoshoots was so easy; just share your request with the hotel and they handle everything smoothly.||There’s also no doubt about the ambience, interior, and cleanliness everything was perfect and added to the magical experience.||Special thanks to Beyza, Aysenur, Alper (restaurant manager), Sue, and of course, the wonderful Unal. Sorry if I missed a few names, but a huge thanks to all the other staff as well who assisted us during our stay…you were all amazing 💕🫶🏻||Once again, thank you to Unal and the entire team for the great hospitality. We will definitely visit again with our friends and family...
Read moreWe stayed at Sacred Mansion Hotel for 6 nights. While the building itself is impressive and the rooms were comfortable, overall the experience did not match the 5-star standard the hotel claims.
The positives: the quality of the building is undeniable, and our bed and room were comfortable. The décor, however, felt kitsch — though of course that is a matter of taste.
Unfortunately, many service and cleanliness issues made our stay disappointing. Our key cards had to be reset three times. Basic amenities like toilet paper were not replenished unless we asked. The pool water looked dirty; when I asked about it, staff only said it had been treated but couldn’t tell me when, leaving me unsure if it was safe to swim. Breakfast service was consistently slow and unprofessional, with the exception of one excellent staff member from Myanmar who was only there for a single day. Despite informing the team daily that my partner is lactose intolerant and that, as a pregnant woman, I could not be served unpasteurized foods, the service staff seemed unaware and untrained in handling such requests.
Other small but telling details added up: dirty glassware was left in the corridor for three days, the same three songs played on repeat throughout the hotel, and one afternoon we returned to find not only that our room had not been properly cleaned but that the entire floor entrance was covered in a strange sticky, dirty substance that wasn’t there when we left.
Overall, the hotel has potential — the infrastructure is there — but service, cleanliness, and staff training fall far short of what one expects from a...
Read moreExtremely Disappointing Stay at Sacred Mansion Cappadocia||Our experience at Sacred Mansion was far from satisfactory and definitely not worth the price. A few key issues we encountered:| 1. Room Accessibility: We were traveling with a 2-year-old child, and our room required us to climb at least 40 stairs, with the last 20 being especially steep and unsafe. This was neither kid-friendly nor mentioned in advance.| 2. Lack of Basic Amenities: We requested baby milk early in the morning (7 AM) but were told it couldn’t be provided. Shockingly, even on our last evening, a similar request was completely forgotten.| 3. Inconsistent Staff Behavior: While the morning staff were polite and helpful, the evening reception staff were unprofessional and downright rude at times.| 4. Overpriced Services: The hotel’s in-house attraction bookings were grossly overpriced—nearly five times the usual cost when compared to other local providers.| 5. Security Concerns: We lost a small gold earring in our room. Instead of offering assistance or even a basic inquiry, the evening in-charge bluntly told us they were not responsible since it was left “outside.” No concern or support was shown.| 6. Repetitive Breakfast: The breakfast spread was exactly the same for all four days of our stay—zero variety, and frankly, quite underwhelming.||Overall, our stay was extremely disappointing—from facilities to service to the lack of value for money. We had high expectations but left frustrated and dissatisfied. Definitely would not recommend this property to families or anyone expecting decent...
