I recently had the pleasure of staying at Fox n Bear Cottages, and I must say it was one of the best hotel experiences I've had for the value of $. From the moment I arrived, the staff was warm, welcoming, and professional. The check-in process was smooth and the room seemed to be recently painted, upgraded and comfortable.

What truly stood out was the exceptional management. Every request I had was handled promptly and with a genuine smile. It was clear that the team is well-trained and deeply committed to providing a top-notch experience for their guests. The manager was often present, checking in with guests and ensuring that everything ran smoothly, which I really appreciated.

The location were excellent — walking distance to alpine slides and 2 minutes drive to the Big Bear village and lake. The restaurants were near by as well.

I have stayed here twice and the first time was awesome we stayed in cottage one beautiful cottage i booked it through priceline and i wanted to go back so i booked the same cottage again i arrive so excited and i recieve a tiny cottage and tried to contact the property manager jennifer to resolve this issue she was beyond rude and hung up the phone on me made me cry i then messaged her to get a refund and i am still waiting because me my husband and my son left the cottage inmediately and stayed elsewhere in big bear lake where we were welcomed and treated with kindness and respect jennifer is a bad property manager and rude and the room i got was filthy dirty and smelled horrific like mold...
